Hello guys. I'm new to the game and today i'll be playing a team with twice my squad value. He usually plays 4-4-2A and I'm thinking about going on 6-3-1 or 4-2-3-1 with counterattack. Any tips to which one should I use?

Hello guys, newbie urgently in need for guidance against opponent playing 631a counter attack.
So my roster value is basically twice better than him, but i simply can’t win against him on friendlies. Both for home and away, been losing to him 1-0 and 0-1.
I am currently using 433b WP, forwards attack only, midfielders stay in position, defenders defend deep with advance tactis of 85-75-70.
Can someone pls tell me how to deal with it as i’m going to play against him real soon. Thank u so much

Best tactic to beat 4-3-3A Passing game. Playing away and we have similar team levels.

@kutupalingbusuk yep , 4-3-3 B it can be , But against 6-3-1 "counter attack" I suggest you a 4-4-2 B Wings play zonal marking , offside: yes

@lpfuller97 you should use a clasic tactic 4-3-3 A wing play zonal marking , offside : no and the rest I suggest a pressure normal 53-65

As an alternative to 4 3 3 try 5 3 2 wings, attacking full backs, stay, attack with 28/28/75.

@hespera I have no interest in ready tactics, I like to create my own tactics. However, I have doubts about some concepts in the game. And what are these concepts? The percentages, I never understood the difference of 1% for more or 10% for less. Could someone please explain to me the impact it brings to the game ?

@kutupalingbusuk 4-4-2 B WP , pressure 91, style 79 and passes in 95, offside: yes and man marking, deep defense, Midfielders push forward and forwards only attack.

@ts565822 i am not hespera but I wanna give to you my opinion about the advanced tactics and The percentages ( pressure , style , passes) The different between 1 and 10% in some line-ups these percentages don't afect the tactic in general ( example 4-3-3 in 50 to 75 it's ok) but in another tactics , the least detail changes the potencial of the tactic eg.
In the tactic 5-3-1-1 It's defensive tactic you should play in style 27 , but When I used that porcentage I all the time got draw 0-0, but when I change to 29 of the style I started to win 2-0 or 0-3 vs strong teams, for changes of 2% changed all my tactic
Some person changes a little porcentage for hobbit or beacause they look that theirs teams play better with that change.
That's my opinion

@kutupalingbusuk there are differents models of 5-3-1-1 S.O.S or counter attack my suggestion in your case vs strong teams sure... It's that you use Midfielders in protect the defense and the forwards only attack ( or support the midfield) with a deep defense , the style is defensive between 27-36 with the passes 65-75 and the pressure it's depend of you my advice is 75 , zonal marking because you only use 5 defenders and without offside.
as an extra tip , the 5-3-1-1 counterattack is the counter tactic of 4-3-3 if you use in the correct way
