Question about gameplay - Old vs Young players
-
How does team composition work in a game? Should old and young players be in balance? How does this affect the performance of the team in the match?
-
@wrvbreno_xd Great discussion topic!
Let's hear what fellow OSM managers have to say about it.

Ever since this got some sort of an official announcement at the updates section of OSM, i've been noticing that it really does affect the OSM simulation engine, despite of the age, player qualities etc, if you manage to form up attackers, defenders, midfielders with the same nationality then you'll clearly have better results.
Lately i've been following that trend too and the results have been nice!

@joe-mcnorthman Thank you Nerty!
Very nice spotted on. But that's a different part of the new OSM game.What do you say about your players's ages?
Do you pick them from the TL or scout them according to their age? Do you prefer young ones, older or a mix of both? What's your opinion on this?
Care to share it with us please? -
i like older players. they are more mature in the game.
every linie in the fielt an oldy for sure.
also the setting of free kicks or corner i will give to an older player.
young boys can t handle that responsability

Thank you for your opinion Roy!
So , are you telling us that the majority of your squad's players are older and experienced?
You mean like 25 to 30 years of age or 30+ ?
And what are your thoughts about reinforcing your team with much younger players that get better and faster training results? Or even less possibilities of heavy injuries during a tough match? -

Thank you very much for your response, it has further enriched the topic.
In my case I look for the balance between young and old players, for example: the team consists of 11 players, I put 5 or 6 old players and 5 or 6 young players (I prefer to keep more old players than new players)
One more detail the players that I usually climb based on this division of young and old is usually 1 old player in every 2 young people with exceptions on the sides and in the midfield.
