How to interpret match statistics
-
Hi
If I dominate a match (I.e. more shots, more possession) but I lose the game, does that mean my tactic was good but that I was unlucky or does it mean that the tactic did not work? -
No. There's no good tactic in here. You just put your team together, pray and hope it works!
-
Unlucky or maybe they just had better quality strikers relative to the GK.

It means that OSM is kidding with you.
For example, i´m at the third game in the winners cup and this is the stats and the results ( My team value was 1.3B but after the third game i have sell the best players for 5 boss coins each because i just gived up, my team was the best team of all 32 and after 3 games i´m with 0 points):
1st game: 15 shots against 7, possesion 66-34, so it was clearly a game for a lose, 1-0 with a goal at minute 89.
2nd game: 14 shots against 10, possesion 59-41, so it was clearly a game for a lose again, 3-2 with the 3rd goal from the opponent at what minute? Yes, at the 89 minute!! xD
3rd game: 11 shots against 12, possession 48-52, so yeah, you guessed, how the opponent had 1 shot more than my team, they desearved to win not by 1 goal difference, but yes 2-0!! xD
Amazing job OSM, congrats! -
I mean irl they all offer players such big salaries. Thanks

@Bino-de-Viseu Use the data analyst and work out a counter tactic for each game. Regardless of your team value you can lose any game. If you play for example 433 away and the home team is of slightly less value but they play a 451 or 523/532 they can easily defend throughout the game and then score a cheeky goal and win the game. It happens. If the games would be won according to the team value alone then there would be no point for anyone to join a league if they would not have a goal 1 team.

Looking at the statistics is not enough
look at the evaluation as well
