Can't find my friends

I just created a new league. However, some of my friends can't find me. My profile says "The Netherlands" and their profiles say either "NL" or "AT". Is this why they can't find me? Or is there another reason

Your friends cant find you because you are playing Dutch version, and they are playing World version.
This is clear, in order to play together, you and your friends must play on the same version, either Dutch or World.
You cant transfer accounts from one version to other.

If you want to change region on phone, here is the link with a screenshots
on web you can go to log in page and in the upper right corner you will see EN language. That stands for World account.
