Losing less player fitness per match

I have this guy in my competition who is only losing 1-2% player fitness per game for his players. His players have played 5 consecutive games and have 90 or 95% player fitness. How is this possible? I'd like to do this as well so I have to alternate less between players.

Fitness loss depends on players age and your tackling style. When you play reckless you lose more than playing carefull. -
Is the difference really that big? He has a player of age 30 with 5 consecutive games at 90% fitness and one of age 24 with 5 consecutive games at 95% fitness. Is that an indication of playing with really low pressure, not attack-minded at all, and little pace(tempo)?

@mellark_NL Yes! That's right. If you play with careful or normal pressing the player's fitness will be always good.
