Young players or experienced players?

Is it worth to buy more experienced players that decreases your cash significantly or to buy young players with a lot of potential?

Buying young players means good potential, true and that's good. But sometimes, when you're low on money, you should buy older players.
My preferences to buy old players are-

• Less matches are left or it is a tournament

• You mostly have lesser players in the squad so they're used in lineup most of the time. You can buy old players to save money in positions where you're gonna have very less players mainly.

@mourinhospurs_1 you need a balance. I've had too many veterans before and the commentary has said I need more young players and I've had too many young players and been told I need more experience.
