I start using 3-5-2 do you thing the game has a sort of script for modules different from 4-3-3 if not could you please suggest me some tactics with this module (3-5-2)
Thanks -
@vittuzoverthetop Hey there,
One of the most important stuff you need to have on a 3-5-2 is 2 good Forwards... it doesn't necessary mean you need to have 2 Strikers... you must have 1 striker but if you don't have another one, you can have 1 real good RF or LF (Right or Left Forward), you just won't have the little bonus for it to be in his 100% right position.
Another big part is your CM right in the middle (the Central Midfielder), so make sure you have a very decent one as he's usually the one who assists for both forwards and might score some times aswell. (For me is the most important and I'll tell you why in a bit!)
Those for me are the crucial parts of this formation / tactic.
In my opinion, this is a tactic you can and should use on away games only because in here you can rest RB and LB (Defenders of Right and Left side) as you will only use CD (Central Defenders) here and you'll also rest both RF and LF (Right and Left Forwards).
Both of those RB, LB, LF and RF players are usually used on home games specially on 433 formation that you probably use on home games, and using this 352 is indeed a good option to rest them up for those home games.
Now, for the main tactic, on this formation is nice to use shoot on sight but passing game isn't bad either.
Passing game - Here comes the Central Midfielder I told you earlier, as he's the interligation of everything, he gets the ball from defenders and the rest of midflielders to score or pass to both forwards.
Shoot on sight - Again the Central Midfielder is great here because he'll be one of the most who will try to shoot as he's the one who is most likely going to shoot from medium distance.
Again, you should only use this tactic on away games, if you play home games I suggest you go with 433 as you mentioned too.
As Away Games, I strongly suggest you to play Shoot on sight and put up your defenders to stay in position, midfielders to help defense and attack as attack only.
Zonal marking always and play off-side no because you already have the 3 defenders and midfielders backing up your defense.
Tackling depends on the referee as you know.
As for the pressing, style and tempo I would suggest these 2...
If your opponent is extremely better than you (he has 110 players and you have 70 for example) you can opt to go on a very defensive way...
- Pressing Sit Deep (From 20 to 40)
- Style Park the Bus (From 0 to 20)
- High-speed passing (From 60 to 75)
Since you playing on a very defensive way, this high speed passing will help you to make good attacks on the little attacks you'll have.
If your opponent is equal or not too stronger than you / weaker you can go like this...
- Pressing Close down opposition (From 60 to 75)
- Style Defensive (From 25 to 40)
- High-speed passing (From 60 to 75)
If you play away against someone who'll go 443A for example, don't forget you can and should really put up your midfielders backing up the defense because your LM and RM (Left and Right midfielders) will cancel / stop most of the attacks of his LF and RF (Left and Right forwards) and mediums.
Hope I helped.
PS: Don't forget that this doesn't mean you'll obviously win every single away game with this, there are tactics and tactis.
Cheers!
