This is an alert/reminder to doublecheck if the e-mail set on your account is still valid.
If valid, ignore it. We know it's annoying, but better to have it than later find out you're no longer able to log on your account.

This alert will stay there for about a month, to give time to those that are on holidays or took a small break to be able to check it. After that period, e-mail login will be in place:

If you already have an e-mailadress added to your OSM account and that you still use, then you do not have to do anything. These messages that appear are there to inform users that the login method of using username and password is soon going to be removed and need to make sure that they have set up other methods to keep login into their account.
