No it is not back to normal and to be very honest videos never worked like the offers, surveys, etcetera which need hours - days - weeks as they are externally verified. Videos were always a tit for tat exchange, you watch one, you get one coin. It worked like that every time, 100% of the time.
Don't you think we know that? How commercial videos work? It is indeed the simpliest form for an offer but they still remain an offer related to Osm's partners / Sponsors and not GBs responsibility.
All of a sudden that changed on Friday. Coincidentally, and this may have nothing to do with it, also a new version went live for the app as well as the screen/menuitem where you watch the videos. From Friday afternoon onward, all of a sudden the "videos watched to boss coins received ratio" dropped from the 100% it always was to maybe 40-50% since then.
And that's exactly the reason for why I kept this topic opened for 5 days now and for all managers to read it , post their reports and get their feedback too!
Otherwise I could simply throw to you guys the Common Questions reply from the start and lock the topic. Did I do that ? Nope.
I don't understand why convincing this is a bug is needed, when there is a clear change in the before and after scenario for many players. This can only mean two things: an intended change or an unintended change (which is a bug). Taking from your comments thus far I'm fairly certain this change was at the very least not intended. That only leaves the bug possibilty.
My friend I'm sorry to say this but not everybody who happens to report a bug is always and 100% spot on. And that's why I wrote down step by step instructions to be read and followed carefully in order to certify that , if boss coins are or are not added properly.
Anyway, I exited out of the app, then closed the app completely, the went into Android App management and cleared the app data, then restarted the app and it's still happening. Not 100% of the time but it didn't do so before either. One hour-slot I can get some coins, another hour-slot none.
Sorry but this part was not understood clearly tbh. How often do you visit your business club and how many videos were you able to watch during a day? What does one hour - slot mean?
All I can say with certainty is that some videos reward us with just one coin and others with two. But that again is up to the Sponsors decision.
I'll try and get a video somehow as well but to be honest the 'they are saying you guys have to prove this is a bug' is not a motivating factor at all.
I'm very sorry if you felt this way but this was nothing new. We always ask for as much infos as possible via a completely filled bug template and of course clear screen shots and/or videos of full screen ( showing the date and time of the bug in question )
Last but not least, I wanted to thank you for your post cause I was actually wondering what had happened with your case. And if you get a video actually working I would be delighted !
