Last Man Standing 2016/17 #1

Welcome to the brand new edition of Premier League Last Man Standing!
The idea of this game is very simple - each week, you predict one Premier League team who you think will win - if they win, you stay in the competition, and if they don't, you are out! (just to clarify, a draw knocks you out of the competition).
Rules
- It’s simple, just pick the winner of one Premier League match each week. If your selection wins you progress to the next week, lose or draw and you're out.
- You may not pick the same team to win more than once during the tournament (unless the tournament progresses past 20 weeks, which is highly unlikely lol).
- All selections must be received before kick-off of the match in question.
- Should you forget to make your selection in any week, you will automatically be removed from the competition. You will be free to rejoin the next one, though.
- In the event that any match involving a team you have selected is postponed or cancelled for any reason, you will continue to the next round. However, that team will no longer be available for selection.
Even when you are through, please do not post your selection for the following week until after I have done all my admin work and posted the fixtures for the following week. I will be keeping the results on a spreadsheet which will be available to view at any point. Thanks!
This competition is open to ANYONE, although if you're reading this after 19/11/16, you'll have to wait for the next competition.

Just give it some time and you'll find out that medals will be more balanced and according to the manager level/skills.
