Life is treating me well so far, thanks man.
I tend to agree with you. It gives new and active players a chance to be at the top without competing with managers who have been around since day dot. A custom ranking for those managers that have been around for some time would be amazing... May be something that's based on time playing OFM or used to be in first place on the rankings?
At the end of the day it is a business so they have to do what's right for the business. A little bonus here and there for the managers that play the game wouldn't go astray either. It would make for a nice addition to anyone's profile. May be even adding a 'Legendary' or 'Champion' category to the achievements list that could be purely based on customised achievements awarded directly by the staff (and not automatically obtained so people don't have empty slots in their achievements)? I reckon that would work better too.
Are there any other old school managers out there?!

@ahmedwow2013 You may have to remind me because I don't remember...
Season tickets and premium season tickets were so good! I remember those good old days. Everything is made a lot simpler nowadays I think to cater to the majority of players. Change is good and we just have to adapt I guess. I still enjoy playing the game despite not being active on this forum or crew competitions.

@gary-gomes I remember tickets... also what was improved that when I started only 1 slot was for free for the rest you need to pay
but I miss that you can choose server by yourself and that names of oldschool players

@jasiuk88 Yeah, selecting your own server was perfect and really helped get active managers in your leagues. Everything is based on location now so regardless of where you want to be, you can sometimes go in leagues with non-English speaking managers for example which bugs me a little bit.
I guess that can be resolved by asking for managers to join via the forum.

@gary-gomes but by the forum usually response is not so big
also what I like is past that you can make your own "Newspaper" article and they was giving team of the day and describe a little managers.

@jasiuk88 True, but not doing it will mean you won't have any managers unless you are lucky enough for them to randomly join your league.
That was a good feature but it wasn't one that I used or read much though if I'm honest. I just miss the old forum way too much. We had so many active managers at one stage it was awesome! Made the game that much more exciting and enjoyable.

Anyone remembers that feature called "League chat", practically a mini forum for your own league? Loved that stuff

@majstor-matt Haha, I definitely do! There were a lot of trolls that loved their limelight in it but all in all it was a good feature to have to communicate with those specifically in your league. Good old days...

I have been playing for quite a few years (have had my crew still going since 2006) and was wondering whether there were any managers still playing the game from the good old days of OFM? Any older staff members that know me still a part of Gamebasics?

Yes, you could have been doing that as well, but on the main page of your slot/account you had somewhere around league table a small chatbox in which you could've chat directly with people from your league.
