Has anyone ever had a player score an own goal in OSM?

@manchester-munch Not me, although that would make it a little more realistic, as long as they don't do it to often.

This would be a good suggestion go add own goals.
Bad idea for me...don't see the reason why to have own goals...who is going to have a benefit...the opposite team??? and it doesn't happen so often in real life too....

Awesome idea. It's apart of football, Gamebasics is trying to make it look very authentic so this feature is a must.

It's certainly an interesting idea. It would make the gameplay it a touch more realistic. I concede that it doesn't happed as often in real football. But it still happens occasionally.
So maybe they can make this a rare occurrence, but a possible occurrence nonetheless? Maybe similar to getting a red card from a blue referee? Very rare, but still happens. But rather this just being a chance occurrence, you can have it linked with team selection. Perhaps a consequence of selecting players in the wrong position? For example, if you play a full-back at central defence, there's a possibility of this happening. Definitely a topic for debate.

@tony-alvera Haha... Great post! Indeed it's rare but it's also part of real footy.
But guys if you feel like debating over a new possible future feature like this one, could you please continue this chat on our official topic for Osm Suggestions and ideas?
Thank you all for your posts so far...
