Removal old Forums: 2 January

It was good to have the old and the new Forums working along side each other for some time. The time has come now to say goodbye to the old ones. You can copy paste topics/posts (really everything you like) up to 2 January. From then on, the old Forum will no longer be available (http://en.onlinesoccermanager.com/forums)

Why are Ye Olde Forums being ditched wholesale? At the very least, you could have made them read-only, for future generations (and this one) to enjoy.

That's exactly what I also wonder. Do they really need to be removed? Why cannot they be retained so people can consult them?
