Player that I sold to a team was put back on transfer list at lower overall

As manager of Bournemouth in the Premier League, I bought a 96 overall Belotti from Torino and then trained him to a 100 overall. I sold him to Atalanta, but then during the same season a couple of weeks later I saw him placed on the transfer list by Atalanta but was a 98 overall. Is it possible for a player you sold to be put back on the transfer list by the team that bought them at a lower overall? I didn' think it was possible for a player's overall to drop in the same season.

That is not possible....maybe you made a mistake and it was 98 when you sold him....else and without screenshots nothing can be told for this situation...
