Uefa Champions League

Couple tough matches left ahead for Dinamo Zagreb, but game with Celtic at home will be a great opportunity to try and secure top 24 position
Would be an awesome acomplishment for our Croatian club

The table is interessting now. Liverpool & Barcelona are the only 2 clubs that are allready qualified for the next round.
Tonight there is a kind of knock-out game between PSG-Man City, the loser probably missing the play-offs as well! PSG got the baddest cards to go to the next round.
And Barcelona made another remontada.
-
Another massive win for Dinamo Zagreb but sadly it was not enough. Probably it will never happen again in this system that a team with 11 points does not reach play off
(Monte Carlo simulations before the start of league phase (25.000 simulations) showed that 11 points is enough in 100% of situations - sadly statistics cant always be right
)
But nothing no tb said against guys, brilliant campaign for Dinamo. They can be proud!
-
I'm looking forward to the draws.
Dinamo was just a little bit to close. But still a nice achievement.
-
Man city got Real Madrid in the playoffs!! Its not even the round of 16 yet! One of these 2 will have to be knocked out. Thats good news for Liverpool, who, with their b team, have just been knocked out of the FA cup against Plymouth
-
@JAY-ZO City will lose i guess.
Most easy path on paper to the (semi)final is for Liverpool/Barcelona.
other path is harder.My guess is: Liverpool-Bayern Munich as the final(when it's possibale with the next draw)
-
@BrandZone_NL As a fan of Real Madrid I wouldnt be so sure. We have massive problems with injuries in defence and probably both Tchouameni and Valverde as primarily midfielders will have to starts in defense.. so I wouldnt count out City in this one, I would even put City as favourites in these 2 matches (55-45%)

@Majstor-Matt, @BrandZone_NL,
Looking here, the only match i’m not sure of is real v city. Apart from that, personally, i think semi finalists will be bayern munich, barcelona, Liverpool and man city/ Real Madrid. From there unpredictable. (New injuries and form may twist the outcome)
We might end up with bayern and city/real in the finals -
@Majstor-Matt Same with injuries at City + they are out of form at the moment. And i would prefer to have Real in the next round.
Going to the next round my predictions are:
PSG
Sporting Lisboa
Real Madrid
Juventus
Benfica
Atalanta
Bayern
AC MilanAnd then i'm looking forward to the next draws because that can make a big difference for each path.
i would love to watch Real-Bayer Leverkusen, PSG-Barca, Juventus-Arsenal.

Nice first legs. What a goal…. Mbappe against city. That was class. If it was anyone else in b.diaz’s position, they would have skied the shot. He had good positioning, good goal too. Bayern munchen, borussia dortmund, psg take leads into the 2nd legs
-
And Real Madrid. Dunno how forgot them
-
What a surprises, 3 Italian clubs eliminated by clubs from the Benelux. Feyenoord,PSV & Club Brugge did a fantastic job.
Same for AZ Alkmaar that won the play-off from Galatasaray.
I'm looking forward to the draw!
-
@BrandZone_NL what a draw we’ve got….
No need for me to say anything, everyone can see how electric its gonna be…
PSG v Liverpool(im Liverpool fan
)
Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid
Feyenoord v Inter Milan🧐
Borussia Dortmund v Lille
Club Brugge v Aston Villa
PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal
Bayern Munich v Bayer Leverkusen
Benfica v Barcelona

@JAY-ZO Great draw but unfortunately some football giants might get knocked out but here out for this fact, out of the 72 teams which participated in the Champions league and Europa league this season, only Manchester United is still unbeaten
