Tackling

I have just lost a game in which one of my defenders was sent off in the 16th minute for studs up tackling. Now, which category would you expect that to come under?
Reckless - yes. Aggressive - certainly. But guess what, I had gone for normal tackling! If that comes under the umbrella of normal then I have learned nothing in watching & playing soccer for 50 years. Then again I have used aggressive tactics (never reckless) & the comment has been I should have gone all out with that particular referee - with what do you have in mind? Perhaps my players should have been issued with knuckledusters & punched their way through! Perhaps I should apply for a job there as you seem not to have grasped the basics. Please identify the source of this & get rid of the idiots who allow it.
