Hi there,
To be a bit more specific: In it's basic form OSM is a one-season-game. However, there is a way to continue with your team to another season. This is called the Winners Cup. When you place at the top of the league in certain number of countries (England, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Brazil, to name a few), you will receive a ticket for the Winners Cup. You take your team and your Club Funds with you to take on other managers that also received a Winners Cup ticket.
With your current team on your slot 1 it is not possible to continue with your team, because you are playing in a league that doesn't hand out tickets to the Winners Cup.
