Premier league and premier league teams (ENGLAND)
-
Hi, I seriously can’t believe there is no topic for premier league here. So i created a new topic, where you can talk about English teams and premier league. Hopefully, people will occasionally post here, and this topic won’t be dead like many other topics.
Anyway, i have found this:
I don’t know what you guys think, but i think they should have said “we plan to build a team which will win the FIFA club world cup, intercontinental cup, premier league, FA cup, FA community shield, carabao cup and uefa super cup in the next five years”.
I mean, of course, the stadium looks mad and all, but if teams who are currently better than them not planning on building better stadiums, then why are united doing it? -
@JAY-ZO well It's simple why Man United are building a new stadium and not other teams
Other team maintained their stadium throughout the years whereas Man United didn't maintain theirs, and also when there is heavy or light rainfall in Manchester, the stadium leaks at many different places, and as Ronaldo said, they didn't change anything since 2009, they even saw rat on the pitch during a match, there are even broken chairs, so I think these might be the reasons why they decided to built a new stadium which will be ready in 2030, though I wonder what if Man United are not in the premier league in 2030, having a big, beautiful, futiristic stadium like this one and not being in the premier League is such a shame.
I think Manchester United really need to build a new stadium as they did maintain Old Trafford well throughout the years

I didn’t know that, must have been funny, …………though I wonder what if Man United are not in the premier league in 2030, having a big, beautiful, futiristic stadium like this one and not being in the premier League is such a shame. ….Yes, but I don’t think it will happen.
I see.
I live in England, and let me tell you straight: Every single team is playing good in the premier league right now. In other leagues, for example league 1, psg have not got any hard opponents.
Being at the top of the premier league is a big thing.
United have played well against arsenal, 1-1, whilst city lose 1-0 to Nottingham Forest in top 4 battle.
Also, salah has a really good chance of breaking the record for the most goal contributions in a premier league season.FLASHBACK
Football right now is stupid compared to previous seasons (like 1999, and season around that). Now teams are only interested in keeping the ball and passing
Anyway, i dont know if any of you will remember this goal, but this is from when united beat arsenal 3-1 in 1999 i think.
Nani was on the right wing, surrounded by two defenders. I’m not sure what the name of the skill he used is, but people tell me after that match, every kid in the country was trying that skill. It was like a rabona type of skill. And then from far away and the tightest of angles, he chipped the ball over the keeper. Wow……
(PS: do not think i like united, i hate them. I’m a Liverpool fan)

Liverpool are now going up against Newcastle in the carabao cup final, with both sides could possibly have key players injured
-
@Ruben-Amorim-FC @JAY-ZO Actually Everton is building their new stadium and it is almost finished. They will start playing there from next season.
Liverpool will leave Anfield in the near future as well.About Old Trafford, i've been there last October and it depends what area you're on, i was in a nice place with a good lounge and nice chairs. So nothing wrong with that. About the rat on the field, that is very comon in almost every stadium. Even more for stadiums outside of the city centre, rats and mice will go to places where it is warm and where is food. It's easy for such an animal to get in.
United does'nt need to leave Old Trafford but they will because they will be in a good place that is good enough untill 2070.Back on topic, Newcastle won the League Cup first mayor trophy in so many years! Nice job, because of this it is in theory possibale there will be 11 teams from the PL in Europe next season. But a bit more things need to happen will that takes place.

No waaaay. How? When? Why?

Yeah, to be honest, thats true. But yeah, if i were a united fan, i’d still be sad. Such a great stadium it has been for so many years… but i’m not so I don’t really care

Yeah, that would be interesting to see. Before, they tried to create the “super league” or something, but most clubs rejected.
Who do you think will win the premier league? I think Liverpool just about clinched it.
There’s a nice break from local/domestic football now, as international break is starting.Off topic, i’ve read an interesting article:
Intresting.

Yep, but I still believe Manchester United really needed to upgrade their stadium but with Old Traffored not being renovated frequently, It is hard to do so now, so they decided to build a new one, hopefully it will bring Manchester United with better luck
@JAY-ZO about Who will win the premier league, well
Despite liverpool's downfall in these last 2 games, they were absolutely not like they played so far this season, it was a disaster to watch them play, but still, losing the league to an Arsenal side with no striker seems a bit impossible, I think Liverpool take it this year.... but it's funny how Liverpool fans expectations from winning a quadruple to a treble changed drastically to winning at least the Premier league
