Day 9: Post a song by an artist no longer living
The amazing Aretha Franklin just died half a year ago. Definitely one of the best female singers of all time.
2012 Joe Cocker brought out a new album. And this is my favourite album of him, with many great songs. Sadly he died two years later in 2014.
Freddie Mercury of course has to be honored on this day of the music game. But there was also a women, he did great stuff with in his last years: Montserrat Caballรฉ. And she also died last year...

Nikos Papazoglou - A Greek legend ! A genuine Thessaloniki-born singer... Another Angel in Heaven now...
Ahhhh vre Niko... Ah Ellada, s'agapo >> Ah Greece, I love youSingers that left us too soon and I wish they were still around us singing to us with their divine voices ...
Oh George, You have been Loved ! For sure, my sweet Angel ...
Dammit !!! He was gone so bloody young !!! Damn drugs, alcohol and depression that kills the Art !!!

Day 10: Post a song in the language from the country you come from
Here a few german songs of three totally different genres.
The singer of the first song is primarily an actor (My favourite german actor) but produces music at the same time.
Number 2&3: Max Raabe is a well knwon german musician, who sings songs in the style of the music from 1920/1930. It's very special and not everyone likes it, but I think it's great.
And I love this music video
The 4th one is a song against nazis and all those idiots who vote for them!

The 4th one is a song against nazis and all those idiots who vote for them!Good morning Marinus ! Before I post my today's songs I felt like sharing a few things about your songs.
Firstly I wasn't able to view your first and last song via my phone but I will look for them on youtube, I promise.
But I must say I absolutely loved Max Raabe's style , his melodies and his gentle and elegant voice. So yeah, imo he is one of a kind for a singer mate.
Plus... The frog from that video was super cute and I would definitely kiss that little puppet too ( whether he would turn into a prince ...or not ! )
And I am so proud of you for your last comment and post about these lost souls who are constantly fed only by misery and hatred.
I wanna thank you for everything that you are and share it with us and I tell you this Marinus ...If I start loving the German language it will be Only because of You my friend. And that's why today before anything else I wish to dedicate this old song that you brought in my mind this morning. With love from Greece. I would hug you for real if I could...Bless your heart Marinus !

Day 11: Post a song that needs to be played LOUD!
Some time ago I bought a new stereo system. This epic TSFH song was the song, I tried with, which volume was possible. I was so flashed. And since then i know, that there is no other possibilitie than to play this song really loud
As 2nd a great rock song.
I was on a concert in november, where this great band was the opening act. They also played this song. And I think my face looked like this when the guitarist started to make this strange noices at the begining of this song live and just with his mouth. This was strange and fascinating at the same time ^^But enough stories from me. Just listen to the last one
(Even if the CD-Live version of their berlin concert is way better ^^) -

Since you continued with the letter Y it meant that you chose Dolores's - Ordinary Day darling and not U2's - Ordinary Love.
But our graceful judges can overlook that minor mistake ...Hahaha...
So we're moving on and I'm gonna post a fun dancing track for ya that begins with letter L , as requested from your post. That means... You are next with letter S waiting for your wonders.
Oh what the heck... I might as well share a couple more songs that I like and haven't listened to for a long time now...
There you go Saby . Feel free to move on with S , N , or Y !

@marinus99
Day 11: Post a song that needs to be played LOUD!A funny fact... After reading your new challenge Marinus and Saby's post about the L letter I instantly thought of Jennifer Lopez's song : Let's get Loud ! But nope , not for today guys.
Today I gotta post the songs that make me wanna scream and shout and cry... And that can only mean one band...
U2 to my dying breath!Just listen how their music grows in these songs changes from soft tunes to powerful ones... And their lyrics are ...wow... Don't even know how to describe them... Simply Magnificent !!!
-
@supernova-8 No, dear. I mentioned above, I choose the song from U2 of course. Because they are my fave. I choose the best from your 3 sharings)) I mean the song, that I like the best, not the letter to continue. And for our game to continue I choose the letter Y))
-
