@alyssagb Terrible terrible update. And I am not only saying this because I am in the Dutch top 100 ranking. I am commenting because the medal system doesn't work - it isn't realistic in my opinion.
I also play on OSM World and there I have more medal points than on the Dutch OSM, but on OSM World I only login maximum once per day and don't do anything at all. Doesn't make sense right? I see a lot of new players who have more medals than players with a lot of experience in the game. I'm unsatisfied with the medal system and think the manager points give a more realistic picture of a players' managing quality.
For me personally and maybe many others this doesn't give a lot motivation to play OSM...
It's probably a good idea to first ask the community whether they are satisfied with the medal system and that they want to manager points to be removed or not.

@ado-hackovic How the hell he scored 216 goals in 26 matches? And the other managers too. They have 100+ goals scored. Is this is a hack or something?

@AlyssaGB I don't support you to introduce a medal system instead of manager points, as the efforts of former players will be ignored.

Removal of manager points= More resignations from clubs. Why? Because many managers are unable to stay on their objectives but they still play to get manager points.

And what about the 'Top-100' Achievement (and its 7500 BossCoins reward)?
Once the ManagerPoints will be omitted, will this Achievement also cease to exist?If this is the case, this isn't fair, because some Managers have been rewarded those 7500 BC and others will never be able to.

Why wouldnt there be a chance? Ranking will still be there and you will still be able to get into top-100. Only thing is, you will have to stop play competitive leagues and start playing with noobs only

@majstor-matt no versus bot in lock champ. It s more easy again.. And less expansive.. No transfert, no training camp, no friendly game... Top medals classement and no coins...

I already read all post about this decision to remove Manager Points and it is obvious that 99.9% doesn´t agreed with that.
I posted a comment in Portuguese Forum first about this situation where i gave the example here before explained by @HBlauzahn.
The actual top Medal Ranking Player villooti despite he is a OSM player since January 2020, he is at the top of the ranking ...
If we analyze this 4 slots, this player has the 4 leagues created by him.
SLOT H: There are 10 coaches in a league of 12, all inactivecoaches (except Villooti). Villoti manages to lead the league with 0 draws and 0 losses with a 28M team.
SLOT 1: There are 14 coaches in a league of 14, all inactivecoaches (except Villooti). Villoti manages to lead the league with 0 draws and 0 losses with a 25M team.
SLOT 2: There are 8 coaches in a league of 10, all inactivecoaches (except Villooti). Villoti manages to lead the league with 0 draws and 0 losses with a 27M team.
SLOT 3: There are 12 coaches in a league of 12, all inactivecoaches (except Villooti). Villoti manages to lead the league with 0 draws and 0 losses with a 29M team.
Recipe:: Just create the 4 leagues in the 4 slots, invite inactive coaches and you will be great! 
Shame...
If Medal Ranking is a ranking to stay, please do not remove Coach Point ranking. Let the 2 co-exist...
