that new medal system is just unfair. I am an average player who has been playing this game for 6 years, so no problem for me but this is so derogatory for experienced and well-playing managers. I really feel sad in fact. What a pity.

@mighty-stev_nl Totally agree, been playing osm since 2005 and understand that you have to change things every now and then to keep it attractive to players
However, removing the manager points is really a slap in the face for many. Last time I was 7 points off the top 100 and now having a great season and definitly woud reach it.
No there goes away 16 years of work and if you look at what will take its place. It results in the opposite of what the medals should have done, but I'm also considering cutting it now.
Eternal shame this, or just turn it back!!

Total chaos, total headlessness, total bankruptcy. The game became dead.An incomprehensible and untraceable calculation system, unrealistic ranking, etc., etc.Operators do everything they can to keep old players out of the game.Every innovation is almost a stumbling block, this direction is very sad and incomprehensible.

So, the manager list is still organized by the manager points we had, from now on it will be organized by the amount of medals? are u telling me that xotoPT is the 3rd on this manager list? by creating his account in 29/05, never logged in afterwards, and being in 9th from 11th positions? are you telling me that he has more medals than the 1st place?
It´s fair that the 11th (last) coach in the league is gaining more medals, with no victories, than the highest positioned teams? cmonn...
So, Mister Fontes, by continuing his good performance is gonna be the best manager in medals, so he will be the first appearing on the manager list?

This is the "well received ranking from us" ? no way bro, are we dumb, stupid or dumb?
It´s very pleasable to know that I went from being the 39th ranked, to be the 26000th...
And then you give a awesome reward of 50 boss coins... that definitely doesn´t reward us from the ones we spent, and a VIP league ticket, when you know we have to spend coins as well...Another great innovation made by GB! thanks a lot guys, from keeping this game enjoyable!

My friends... The 9th of June 2021 will become known as the day brilliant minds ended OSM! It's ridiculous and shameful the direction the game is taking! This rating system is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life!

People, this is not worth our frustration. As it is, so it is. We can be angry here as much as we want. GB is "convinced" that this way of ranking is liked by managers. Have you read the "explanation" by GB?
It all says this how they have an opinion of us. I started playing OSM because I got bored of the TOP 11 and found a better game.Stay healthy

@AlyssaGB Why is the top 1000 achievement only 50 coins? There was a top 100 achievement which gave 7.500 coins to everyone who reached the top 100 of the old ranking.

Next question: when are your developers fixing the issues with the medal system itself and come up with a better system? Meaning; The medal system only indicates how many bosscoins (and money) a manager spends on the game and not how good of a manager you really are! For example, in a 39 rounds competition after 16 matchdays I had 3 training camps against me already (end of the season it will probably be 8 training camps against me), since they think I am a thread/better manager(?), leading to 2 losses and 1 draw and 4th place in the competition and 5 points behind #1. While on ManagerPoints I still was 2nd on the managerslist with 1600MP, now with Medals I am number 8 on the managerslist with -2233medals! It takes away all the fun playing OSM was until yesterday, it only makes playing OSM frustrating, which means managers will quit. Please take a close look at all the forums, so far everybody has the same opinion except GB, howcome?
Indicating surveys have shown managers liked this medal system better? You might be right, but then please show us the numbers, not only a percentage but also number surveys subscribed, ranking of the participants, experience of the managers, the way the questions were formulated, etc. I have not seen a survey, and I have not seen one reaction on the forum anyone did see a survey.
If GB wants a system which is driven by bosscoins (and money) spend on the game, fine, but then please be honest about it.
Even having both Medals and MP next to another would be better solution. Then every manager can look at the ranking they like best. -
@koningco Not a mistake. 50 BC's no matter wheter you were 1st in MP ranking or 10.000th. Another kick in the nutts for top ranked players.

I have been playing for nearly 10 years and have never posted on here. Have been ranked no.1 in Hong Kong for a few years and reached a max of around 500 worldwide. However, I felt pretty upset and angry logging into the game today and finding out manager points are being replaced with medals. I've never had a problem with medals so long manager points existed. I only play with one slot so its takes much longer for me to gain medals but that's my choice so I don't mind taking longer to climb up the medal ranks.
However, what is the damn point of replacing the manager points system?
Disregarding the poor implementation and rules of the medal system, why change a core aspect of the game for over a decade? If you want people to keep playing your game you have to give them a goal as an incentive to keep playing and trying such as achievements/ trophies or a ranking system. That becomes meaningless if you replace the ranking system every few years.I do not feel incentivized to keep playing this game if the ranking system changes or resets as that is 10 years of work in the game gone.
I have no issue if you introduce new ranking metrics or achievements down the line to keep interest within the game or attract new players. There is no problem with a new ranking system even if becomes more advertised or 'central' to the game (like manger medals has been in the last few years) so long you KEEP the old ranking method around.If the game ends up changing the ranking system who knows then maybe in a year or 2 all past achievements or league titles will be gone and replaced with a new system.
And at that point what's the point of playing the game?

And nobody wants to take a closer look at it or give some official statement about it as I see..I don’t know why you’re so surprised about lack of feedback from staff or admin mate, you have been around the forums a very long time. They have always had the attitude to not answer people about certain subjects on the forums. But they expect everyone to give them feedback by talking between each other all the time. Even on social media it’s the same.

Hahaha, what an odd update this was. So in order to stay in + with medals, you have to play dead leagues without managers. You win against manager, here is +60 medals, boy. You lose - I'll take few thousand of those from you. Who came up with this hahah. I'm really laughing at the show that's going on.

@danteus I thought that this new way of ranking could have one advantage, and that is that it is easier to find cheaters and suspend them. However, although they are easy to find, their account is not suspended. Why?
