We list all classified crews and split them into 2 pots (1st to 16th and 17th to 32th), according to their scores.

Mate, my suggestion for you.
Next year remove this system with ''best runner-up's''. This makes unnecessary problems and controversy. For example we won vs Zeitgeist 50 points difference, but some crews won +2000 difference vs amateur crews. With this system, it looks like this win vs amateur crews worth more than a win in a very tight and hard battle. Think about that.
The usually rule that 2 first placed crews go into the next round is very simple and clear and removes all speculations. Also very important, it is fair.

This is an experimental tournament. We seek to bring novelty and not merely a copy of CCL and CC.

Some adjustments are necessary, but in the midst of everything, managing 96 crews is not so simple!
