@specialone I'd really like to know how this event works exactly or how it is supposed to work. I've got the feeling this event is coded wrongly and after 5 friendlies you get even lesser than a standard one.

Sure, good question. The progression is a lot higher with Friendlies but the progression decrease after playing more Friendlies isn't changed during the Event.

We have temporarily hired new trainers. Your players are highly motivated!
Due to this motivation, they complete a training within two hours!

Does anyone know if it's possible to profit from events like this 3 times in 4 hours? For example in this training event start training at 19:00:00, 21:00:15 and 23:00:30? Or is this impossible and can we only have 2 additional trainings during events like this?

Just give it some time and you'll find out that medals will be more balanced and according to the manager level/skills.
