i truly cannot believe this. the little identity that each player, each group, and each national team had, is now in the mud. i mean, update by update things are getting to a point where it is no fun at all, and more and more pay to win. this is the way y'all want the game to progress? well, sorry guys, but the game is not progressing, is getting worse.
don't come to me saying that we have innapropriate profile/group avatars, personally i haven't found one yet, and you, osm community staff, should have the sources to remove each one that appears, and apply the consequences to that manager/managers and that i respect, of course, and it's perfectly reasonable.
each update is making the game worse, and worse, starting by the points system, the avatars, and ending in those packs or something that you buy to have less time in trainings or whatever.
this is the path you want the game to follow? well, it sucks, purely sucks. now what? we'll have groups and managers with the same avatars? what about our identity? doesn't count? don't joke with our faces, it is enough.
thanks for reading, i'll wait for the next ********** updat*******@renato-pratas I wholeheartedly agree. I remember when I first payed OSM in 2017, it was so much fun. After a few years I saw the points system disappear which was already so weird to me. Many more things followed and now THIS? Man, atleast I can represent anime on the forum, but I really liked using this profile picture as a badge of honour almost. What we have now is simply shameful...

All i'm thinking off, is another cash grab from GB.
In a few weeks, maybe months if we're lucky, they will introduce a 'season pass' for 9,99 every month where you can obtain 'special' avatars. -
Avatar update
We have bad and good news.
-
Let's start with the bad news.
We will no longer support uploading custom avatars for your manager or your Crew.
Custom avatars are great, we all love uploading football images that suit us best. But there's a big downside and that's inappropriate content.
Everyone can upload inappropriate images that will be shown to over a million managers right away.
Of course, there's only a very small percentage of managers who would think of doing this. But still, it's dangerous and unsafe. And it happens. -
In with the good news.
We will be adding new avatars to OSM to choose from. So with this update, coming soon, every manager will get the same default avatar but can pick a new one from a cool selection. We thought of some cool stuff but we also want your input to create new avatars.
Let us know which avatars you would like to have!
Edited: English only!

Give back our avatars

Give back our avatars
calm people GB will include for $ 9.99 per month the option to place a profile picture. This is ridiculous
-
The game is officially dead.
After manager points being removed that's the 2nd and final part of the mission called ''killing managers identity''.
I have to finish 2 more tournaments and after that it's GAME OVER for me after more than a decade of playing this game.I also must say I never saw such a high level of greed in all my life, it's unbelievable. To play competitive you have to spend 50-100e per month. For such a simple boring one season game. (the community made the game interesting with different tournaments, NOT GB. )
But what can you expect from a game where top of the rankings are cheaters with multi-accounts and no one cares about them, from a game where Hall of Fame managers are people who spent 1.000e, played one league and disappeared while managers who are playing 10-15 years are irrelevant???What to say about a game with allegedly ''hundreds of thousands'' of managers but 0 tournaments organized by GB? About a game where in the only ''official'' thing called official battles you play against same 5-6 crews for 5 years...
Update after update it's getting worse...not to mention the ridiculous packs where you can buy events for yourself etc.
The game is just sick!
RIP OSMIf MenagerBL don't want to play this game already, i have nothing to say. Developers just don't care about the community, but care about their money a lot...

@specialone First of all, I would like to show my gratitude to the OSM team by sending us the explanation of the measure that has been carried out. However, I must show my disagreement with it due to the fact that, as coaches and trainers, we are seeing limited our freedom to add a photo of our liking restricted due to the fact that there is a minority phenomenon from which some people upload photos showing hatred , contempt or obscenity. Precisely because it is somewhat minor, responsible coaches do not have to see ourselves limited because there is a small number of irresponsible people, the solution lies in the fact that an option is included to report those profiles that result be inappropriate.
With regard to the new avatars and the LGTBI flag, I have to say that I personally do not mind that some coach or trainer puts it on their profile, not at all, because it must be respected, however, that it is included within a new package of mandatory images indicates that the development team has adopted a behavior that intends to compulsorily promote something that is already respected by most players, at least in their photos, you yourselves are acknowledging it by saying that obscene images suppose the minor part. As a coach who is passionate about the game, I ask that you reconsider the measure, which can be replaced by the aforementioned option to be able to report obscene profiles. Do not force to use images by default.
Also, finally, before censoring a comment, think about it objectively and without bias, because sometimes what seems like an insult really isn't, and if you censor indiscriminately, the only thing you will achieve is losing players.
If the measure persists, I will be forced to abandon the game.
Receive a cordial greeting.

Well, I think this topic clearly shows you done messed up Gamebasics, congratulations!
It literally takes me two seconds to think of a solution; allow managers to upload their own images when they reach manager level 5, maybe level 6? This way you don't have to deal with low level accounts doing weird things.
But then again, I know you are going to do nothing with this anyway. Have fun counting the money in Zoetermeer, cheers!

whats up with this avatars
if they had this in mind for a while should of atleast took their time to create better avatars
smh. taking the profile pics off is not improving the game. looks like theyre focusing in the wrong things

@specialone If only you could turn your head on a little and think about it! Then you did at least like this .... As an avatar for the manager profile, and for the clan profile ..... disgrace ...

In my over 10 years of playing OSM I have never seen a manager with an offensive crew avatar or profile logo. I have only seen offensive usernames or Fantasy team names.
So I think there is just a very small chance that you see a manager or crew with an offensive logo.
I understand that there is being filtered on swearing words, but why no longer allow profile icons for something what is very fewly misused.
I think you should think again about this up(down)grade and eventually turn it back.
Where you eventually have the option to only chance a logo when your crew exists a certain time or when your profile has played over 200 matches.

-
seriously did someone ever got offended by any image in osm? come on people get a grip its the internet if you dont wanna risk getting offended shut your internet off and stick to tv soaps, plenty of idiots everywhere on the internet, now everyone lost some of their freedom in osm for this and these admins are so deluded thinking these avatars are cool its unbelievable.

@daniele-benjiamin What about offensive usernames? Im pretty sure there are more of them... Maybe give us all User ID's generated by the game wouldnt be bad? I hope they are thinking about that as well as I hate when I see offensive username...

it's always been the same with a difference that if you loook weel isn't so big.
Offenisve usernames couldn't be changed so users were locked. And they could create other accounts with other offenisve names just to joke.
Offensive avatars could be changed by users, but users after they changed often uploaded other new offensive images some days later.
So in both the situations there isn't an end as you can image. It seems that a porno avatar or an offenive name is a way to be cool with himself.
And in that time there weren't limitations that there are now by google and apple for developers, I think that now GB got to a limit and has been forced to take this decisions about avatars.
We only have to wait that the process will develop in a more efficient way to solve problems in chats and in crew's acronyms -

Is it so hard to hire a graphic designer to give more options to users? Hard at least to give options to use club badges as avatars or all flags in world? All in all this all looked rushed and unprofessional at end and that is the biggest problem.
-
Greetings, when will the avatars of top coaches and clubs be introduced?
-
Why are there only white people in the avatars, I don't know whats worse, our funny avatars or OSM turning into KKK.
You may take our avatars, but you will never take our freedom
btw I'm a friend of jeff, just wanted to share that
@maskedandy_1 bro
