seriously did someone ever got offended by any image in osm? come on people get a grip its the internet if you dont wanna risk getting offended shut your internet off and stick to tv soaps, plenty of idiots everywhere on the internet, now everyone lost some of their freedom in osm for this and these admins are so deluded thinking these avatars are cool its unbelievable.

i've been staff support for 2 years and i can say that daily we faced offensive images as avatar.

@daniele-benjiamin What about offensive usernames? Im pretty sure there are more of them... Maybe give us all User ID's generated by the game wouldnt be bad? I hope they are thinking about that as well as I hate when I see offensive username...

it's always been the same with a difference that if you loook weel isn't so big.
Offenisve usernames couldn't be changed so users were locked. And they could create other accounts with other offenisve names just to joke.
Offensive avatars could be changed by users, but users after they changed often uploaded other new offensive images some days later.
So in both the situations there isn't an end as you can image.

It seems that a porno avatar or an offenive name is a way to be cool with himself.

And in that time there weren't limitations that there are now by google and apple for developers, I think that now GB got to a limit and has been forced to take this decisions about avatars.
We only have to wait that the process will develop in a more efficient way to solve problems in chats and in crew's acronyms

@daniele-benjiamin I understand everything, but to give merely an option of a 50 basic low level avatars to choose from even though you had decision given couple months before is a joke. Is it so hard to hire a graphic designer to give more options to users? Hard at least to give options to use club badges as avatars or all flags in world? All in all this all looked rushed and unprofessional at end and that is the biggest problem.

Can we please get some official stand from the game developers on these certain things that were most often asked in topic:

• will there be expanse on the avatar quantity as this current options that you gave us are ridiculous for any game that has more than 100 users.
• will the crew avatars get any more options because it is low quality to have 10 flags of the world available as If other flags are not doable..
• will you do any work on the avatar feature in general and give some option to managers or are we stuck with this low level options forever?

Please give us some news so that we can know what the future holds so that we know is there any hope or are we stuck with this nonsense forever just like we are with these medal ranking that awards only cheaters and people who play low level empty leagues? Thanks in advance.

This was a first version of this new avatar 'model' and we didn't expected it to be perfect, so yes, there will be changes and improvements.

There're lots of ideas on how to improve it.

We'll be adding more avatars, some free and eventually some premium ones that you'll have to pay for them...

Of course that we won't be letting crews out of this. The reason why there are so few National flgs available it's because we only implemented the 10 most represented communities/nationalities. If this ends up being too negaive wihin crews community and since it's not viable to add all national flags, we may endup removing them all...

No OSM feature is 'closed', not even medal ranking, so yeah, it will for sure get updates in future!

@specialone Premium avatars? And you need to pay? Tottaly I not expected that... like guys above give us at least National flag to represent my country...
During 18 years of playing I noticed maybe 3-4 offensive avatar and I reported it... how many was blocked? 0.....

@specialone Thank you very much for your answer. Sadly I have to downvote it as everything leads to "pay for your premium avatar" as expected. Also for medals and everything, of course nothing is closed but sadly nothing is being done so sadly those are pure talks. As long as we have that top 100 compiled with people who have 1 defeat in 500 matches we have nothing to talk about.

Btw I must congratulate to Miniclip and Gamebasics for one thing. Of all online games I ever played, you guys are the first one that got to idea to monetise everything, including avatars as well.. wow... Im really awaiting the day when I will be able to pay 1000 coins to repeat the match I lost...

ill be surprised if anyone actually pays for these premium avatars, that will motivate them to come up even worst in the future, not worth a dime. Hopefully no one is that dumb.
