EL always has suprising results. Betting on the EL is throwing your money away, just insane and unpredictable
-
I think and put my heart in the only spanish team of the Europa League
-
I think semi-finalists will be :
Man Utd
Lyon
Schalke 04
Celta VigoFinal : Lyon - Man U

Schalke certainly won't be easy, but come on, they're the #11 of the Bundesliga. I definitely see a good chance for Ajax to make it to the semi-finals. Yesterday they could have easiliy won with 5-0/6-0. If they play like that again...

Cheering for Manchester United
-
I think that the final will be Celta-Manchester
-
It always good to see some other teams than those that play in the 5 biggest leagues do well in Europe. I'll be cheering for Genk, Anderlecht, Besiktas, and of course Ajax. Genk must be satisfied that they made it this far, but I wouldn't be surprised if out 2 of the other 3 teams will make it to the semi-finals.

I'm happy we avoided United & Lyon. Schalke will be tough, but it's not like they are going to have it easy against Ajax.

@SIRclitjeslikker_NL It's good to see some clubs from different nations than usual. Getting a bit tired to see Spanish clubs reach (semi-)finals

If we speak about the strenght of clubs it's the worst Europa League (UEFA Cup) 1/4 final in the last 10 years for sure. Only 1 top club, all other are average clubs or less than that.
Yes Schalke is 11. in the Bundesliga, but Liecester is on the 16. place and they kicked out Sevilla. German mentality is a weird thing, if we speak about football, it's very hard to kick them out in 2 games. They have excellent players, after United probably the best. They don't have any ambitions in Bundesliga so they can keep all players on the bench...on the other side Ajax must play with 100% every game in the title race with Feyenoord so for me it's a big advantage for Schalke... But ofc everything can happen...Yes I saw Dolberg and Traore missed 5-6 chances and Ajax could win 5-0 easy...I expect an interesting game.
-
@MenagerBL you realize Schalke is only like 4 or 5 points of qualifying for Europa?
-
@hap-slik-weg_NL
Schalke has a wide bench, over 20 players on same level...
In 1/8 final and few last games they played without players like: Huntelar, Embolo, Max Meyer, Konoplyanka, Stambouli, Naldo, Badstuber, Uchida etc. and nobody noticed that...there wasn't any influence on their performance, so I think they can keep easy players they want in next games...
