Well, I was also referring to the CL in recent years (Zagreb, Madrid & Milan for instance). But in the EL they played some terrible games against opponents that could have been defeaten, true 😉 But mostly bad luck in my opinion as I remember that 40m shot goal from that defender of Steau...

My favourite is Shakhtar Donetsk...I hope they can win it. I like them and Donetsk not only becasue footbal, but also because politics, history and other stuff but that's not important right now... 🙂

Yes Man Utd played bad in first matches but it's obviously Mourinho realised it will be almost impossible to qualify for the CL next year via the PL so he will try to win the EL.
In 1st match away vs strong Feyenoord Man Utd played with a crap squad, and in the last match vs Zorya Ibrahimovic and other are playing 90 min. wtf?

                        I also like Zenit. 🙂

@SIRclitjeslikker_NL I think that Ajax wouldn't beat Legia in round of 16 as year ago. They drawed with great Real 3-3 after fantastic match (they could even won), next was 8-4 with BVB - crazy match and the most important win with Sporting. Ajax isn't the same team as year ago when Milik was the best scorer. I believe that Legia hasn't said last word in Europa League 😉

I'm also happy with draw for Manchester. They'll play with Saint-Etienne, with is average team and it'll be easy win for United, I guess. United is one of favourites to won UEL this year. I believe that they meke it happen 😉

@ToomAnyWays I agree with you that we really should not underestimate Legia.
They had a lot of scoring opportunities in Amsterdam and we were lucky to play in an empty stadium in Warszaw.

But please believe me, I did not miss Milik for a day yet. He is has a brilliant left foot, but he did not really fit within ajax' playstyle. An Ajax striker must contribute actively to positional playmaking (or whatever you call that in English). I would prefer Kasper Dolberg over him any day.

@ToomAnyWays Lol Ajax isn't the same team indeed, Ajax is way better now, because Dolberg has more class than Milik en we've got a new star player in Ziyech. But I believe Ziyech won't play against Legia, because he'll be on the Africa Cup by then, so that's Legia's luck.

@ToomAnyWays We have 3 players in the starting eleven who are above 23, so enough experience to guide the young players.

                                  <3 Ajax

Results against bigger and better teams don't say anything. A couple of years ago we won against Manchester City and gave Dortmund a real run for their money, only to throw away a 2-0 win against Steaua and the subsequent knock out following that

Wij zijn Ajax, niet arrogant, gewoon de beste

@tve-nl I don't agree with that. Legia's hooligans are idiots and doesn't have nothing to do with team supporters. They harm to the club finances and club image in the world. I'm not a fan of Legia but I support every Polish club that plays in CL or UEL. You should judge the team by their result not by hooligans behaviour 😉

Your attitute is the biggest reason hooliganism stays such a strong force.

Clubs and supporters saying 'these aren't the real supporters' and 'this has nothing to do with the club'. But it ARE the clubs that could and should be dealing with those groups: identify them, punish them and deny them access to the stadium. But clubs are just afraid to do so.
