Btw looking at the teams participating in this years edition I noticed fun fact about Atletico Nacional - they won Copa Libertadores this years and also should've played the final vs Chapocaense in Copa Sudamericana... isnt those 2 competitions like Champions League and Europa League in Erurope? Does someone know how could've Atletico play both those competitions in same year? Would be nice if someone could explain me that, thanks

Yes, it is possible for a team to take part in both competitions during the same year. As a matter of fact that has happened on many occasions. Copa Libertadores is the most prestigious by far, while Copa Sudamericana started in 2002 as a filler. They are normally played separately, one during the first half of the year and the other during the second half so it is possible to play both.

Surprising defeat of Atlético Nacional to Kashima Antlers (0-3). The Japanese will play Sunday's final against the winner of tomorrow's Real Madrid-América
-
Real Madrid beates Club America 2:0 and reaches the final One more step and 21st international trophy is here, ost successful club in the world!
-
@Majstor-Matt 36 match unbeaten
-
@AlbertoSab12 Real Madrid will win, will be a final giant

@Majstor-Matt Exactly, any team in South America can play Copa Libertadores and Copa Suramericana. La Libertadores is played beetwen January and June-July, and la Suramericana is played beetwen August and December. Years ago, in Venezuela if you played Libertadores you could not play Suramericana, now i am almost sure that none country has limitations regarding to play both and the CONMEBOL neither has limitations.

Real Madrid wins 4-2 over Kashima Antlers in overtime and lifts the trophy

@Majstor-Matt
Antlers had deserved it -
@timeenennaam_NL They played great and had their chances. Even after he "Ramos incident" they had 2 fantastic chances, failed to score and then when the game went to overtime in was obvious they have no more chances. We will never know what would've happened if Ramos got a red, I wouldnt be able to protest that if he was shown a red, was a doubtful challenge. #ok

Real Madrid dominated the first half, but finalized very little; In the second half, the team came back well, but ended with a draw. The Kashima team surprised me, they demonstrated a great football in front of a European giant. Congratulations to Real Madrid; I still have to emphasize that Benzema has played a lot!
-
congratulations to madrid

@Majstor-Matt
I think every neutral footballfan in the world wanted Antlers to win. I think Asia, Australia and (South) America will never break the dominance of the European teams, which is actually a sad thing. -
My cheer was being for the Atletico Nacional, for the beautiful gesture of affection that made with my Chapecoense team, doing homage and giving the title of Sudamericana. THANK YOU ATLETICO NACIONAL. Unfortunately he was only third in the world tournament. Atletico Nacional lost the world tournament, but gained world respect, and this no result will draw. And congratulations to the champion Real Madrid, always great. Congratulations also for Kashima for second place!
