Got to say that I love seeing all of you ahving faith in Croatia
I really hope we can make next step and win this one. Would be important win for us as that would be first knockout win for Croatia on World Cup since that magical 1998. Let's go!! As for my picks :

Argentina - Im going for surprise here just because it would be epic to see clash of all clashes in Quarters. Messi vs CR. Just imagine the headlines

Brazil by 2 goals. I love Mexican team, they play passionate and beautiful football.. but simply Brasil is too strong I am afraid.

Sweden. I simply love the organization and structure in their game. They do not have single pure world class players yet they kicked out Netherlands, Italy, made troubles for France, and then on the World Cup they demolished Mexico and kicket out WC's Germany. I simply love them. I hope their run continues.

Colombia. If James plays. I would love to see England out because of that disgraceful last round where they lost on purpose to Belgium counting on the fact that this part of the draw is easier. I hope that will backfire and Colombia will show them that they made the wrong choice

@ruby2003 France are small favourites here for me as they have better structued team. BUt I agree, not a single on of them have showed anything great so far. But as I sad, Im going for Argentina as it would be epic to see Messi v Ronaldo h2h on World Cup.

I'm glad that France beat Argentina... tbh was expecting several errors from referees to help them go into next round, same way they did to help them qualify on group stage!

@deif-13 nan, but I took an example between the 2 best on their CDM performance, 1 it's too weak. After watching the club performance and Kane is out of play there.
I still have great doubt about Messi out of Barcelona, I wonder if he would not score 2x less goal in a smaller club! Besides, that's probably why he stays there ... -

Probably lost 2 years of my life today, and my nails are done, kaput!! BRAVO SUBAŠIĆ!! What a win! BRAVO Croatia!! Finally we win one dramatic game like this that we usually lose.. Now or never guys, I can see this team going all the way, as much crazy as that sounds...

That was a weird game, your midfield seemed to lose their normal efficiency. And the whole team seemed to not to be firing on all the cylinders they were in the group stages. But keeping calm under penalties and against Kasper (has a good record in this) is an achievement. I also still believe you have a chance but need to go up a gear.

@hans-orf Extremely tough game. Denmark was fantastic in 2nd half. Our players said after the game that temperature was really high and that there was sever drought in the air. Also psychologically this was very very hard for our players, specially for this generation as they never passed this stage of the tournament and we have players who surelly have quality for that.
BUt all in all, despite the fact that I lost my nails and nerves, Im happy they won this way, because this could be an epic positive boost for their moral. Im sure next game in Sochi they will play much much better.

The comebacks from both Croatia (even if only on penos) and Belgium have been noteworthy. But Brazil are peaking at the right time. Maybe we will see the rare site of a non-Euro winner in a European based World Cup.
But if that hard working midfield of Croatia can get the gears grinding again, who knows.
England will probably get past Columbia and it will be a close game v Sweden.
