"Nationality boost"?
-
@majstor-matt Thanks for the feedback. What kind of things for us older customers do you have in mind?
About the nationality bonus, as you know, it's very much doable to collect players with the same nationality without the Scout
-
@majstor-matt i agree with you.if you buy from scout but if you dont get english player you scout another and you are behind with the build of your squad.i suggest that every hour they update the transfer list so we can buy different players.have a great day my friend.french english and german or brazil players should be on transfer list more often.
-
@harry-poon It is doable without the scout but Its not profitable for your overall squad strength.
-
What I have found the most helpful if you do not want to waste the scout coins is to simply try to stick with the nationality your team already has and build accordingly, for example with AC milan most players are already italian, keep an eye on the transfer list and buy italian players even if they are perhaps slightly worse than the other players on the list. For example an italian player might be 86 instead of the 88 player from spain.
-
@majstor-matt That's true. It will be a difficult choice: is the bonus worth the troubles. Something you'll have to find out I guess
-
But all in all pointless and unrealistic update that benefits the ones who pay for their success. Thats not good upgradein my eyes for the game quality.
Does Real Madrid base their scouting and first team players on Spaniards? Does Inter Milan base their players on Italian nationality? In Premier League I dont know if there are more than 4 clubs with 6 or more English players in first 11. Simply nationality nowadays practically means you are weaker team, not stronger, so I dont really see how this upgrade has anything to do with football in real life and logic in overall.
-
@majstor-matt I am 100% with you!
-
@majstor-matt It's a bonus, not a winner. Most clbus like to work with players that at least speak the same language. A shared nationality helps with that. But good point, the quality of a player is still far more important. Same as in OSM.
-
@harry-poon We will see in close future if that is the case, I sure hope so that quality of palyers still tops this nonsense.
-
@majstor-matt You have to improve the use of the market in buying and selling
-
If you think about it though @Harry-Poon most leagues now a days have some kind of rule that limits the amount of foreign players that you can have even the EPL has it. The only reason teams have tons of foreigners is because they have actually been in the country for 6+ years thus becoming citizens. For example, in the mexican league, there is a limit of 6 foreign players, in the italian leagues they have a limit of 4. This gets annoying for managers but it is also a reality, so having mostly one nationality in your team makes sense. Which is why you have to work with the nationality that overwhelms your team. This would also prevent from having managers spend a bunch of coins to get the best players and have them be 3-4 times more than what the rest of the teams are worth.
-
@elcacho10 Could be a cool idea to limit the number of transfers. On the other hand, that's also what makes OSM cool: getting the fantasy squad you want. Though call
-
Considering this update I think that for players who has multiple nationalities we should be able to choose which nationality we will use for current league.
-
@majstor-matt Yea that would be nice but in OSM a player always has just 1 nationality (also because they play in world cup leagues etc.). Would be a little too much to add that functionality.

True, but every season i'm moving to another league. So for example: when i'm playing in a country which doesn't have good players, i can try to get a team with players that have a rating in the 60-70's. And than there is that guy who's going to scout more expensive foreigners and you don't stand a chance...
Et voila here is the pay to win. -
