Will the weekend event be announced today? I suppose it will start tomorrow morning. Last week the event was announced very late, I guess it was announced here even after it started.
-
It is becoming a bad habit to be late in publicizing events
-
What is going to be the next weekend event?
-
Transfer window usually opens on July 1st
Would be nice to see some promotion with transfers in honour of that, dont you think?
-
again?
last week it was training and friendly -

Not good, I hope Transfer Madness coming again next week

I expected a transfer market event because the transfer window opened today. But the window is open until July 21 so maybe next week we will have a transfer market event.
I'm happy with training events like this one as well.

@AlyssaGB. Can you please tell me why you like to ruin the game for managers? Do you think this is humorous at GB?
This is an idiotic event that will ruin competions like champions league CC. Well done GB for making the same mistake over and over again!! -
@Kingnilo_NL There is never an event that can satisfy everyone, but this one is the most fair of all. It gives us opportunity to build up our teams without using too much boss coins and that is fantastic. Yes, more active league do have some problems because everyone are buying from the list, but there are 8 transfer sims during the day, Im sure everyone can try and be active at least around one of these 8 and buy what the need.
I hate when I am playing in normal transfer times like nowadays and I cant improve my team because I dont have luck with transfers.. and meanwhile some other managers are easilly earning 50M in one transfer sim. That is frustrating as well. With this event I can be sure that I will sell enough players in a day to improve my team and rest some players with fatigue.
So yeah, not ideal, but surelly one of the most fair events out there, everyone has the same chance to improve the team, hey just need to be very quick after every transfer sim

We have players from all around the world playing this game. Your last sentence "hey just need to be very quick after every transfer sim" is objectivly true but you cann't ask from Brazilians to stay up all night to "out-F5" their competitors from a European timezone or the other way around. Or to take a free day if you normally work on saturday.
Ofcourse, your reasoning is objectivly right, but I think you could also argue that some people would be in quite a disadvantage because of this event. And before you answer, "that is their choice', that would objectivly also be true. But I think you understand my point. This shouldn't be the way competitions should be decided. Some people can profit from a event and some cann't, in basics that is unfair.

This event is disastrous if you play in really active leagues, but since these leagues are rare (the majority of the leagues on OSM aren't fully occupied with managers refreshing every worker), I can understand that most people like the event as it is.
However, it would still be nice if GB wants to take into account the small part of players that are trying to take the game to its maximum potential in terms of competitiveness. An option to disable weekend events when making a new league would already do the job.
