Well... Officialy just 3 players survived: defender Neto who has several head injuries in a very serious condition; left back Alan Ruschel who has fractures on arm and spine, at risk of becoming paraplegic; goalkeeper Jackson Folmann that lost a leg. Besides them, we still have three other survivors: 2 crew members and 1 reporter from Chapecó.

The other goalkeeper, Danilo, was rescued alive but succumbed at the hospital.

Goalkeepers Nivaldo and Marcelo Boeck, defenders Demerson and Rafael Lima, midfielders Neném and Hyoran and forward Alejandro Martinuccio were not on the plane.

Palmeiras, Corinthians, São Paulo and Santos began a move to cede players at no cost to the team for the 2017 season. They will also ask the Brazilian Football Confederation with the objective that Chapecoense can not be demoted for the next three seasons.

Another brazilian teams have joined the movement for loan players. Racing Avallaneda from Argentina and Libertad from Paraguay too.

          Truly sad news indeed.

It's been refreshing to see the reactions of the football community, with the gesture from Atletico Nacional essentially forfeiting their place in the competition, and the support offered by the big Serie A sides.

Very hard to comprehend when something like this happens, other than 'why ?'

          Sad day for football

Today I woke up at 5:00 AM (local time in Brazil). Not knowing what was happening, I turned on the television to see what it was broadcast on TV. He was showing live the news that the Chapecoense team's plane crashed in Medellin. My hand was shaking, I was very scared, I did not believe that this sad news happened.

              I'm very distressed.

Where to start ... Well, talking about Chapecoense for me is talking about my life. I was born, raised and intend to live much more in this beautiful city, which is called Chapecó. A city that has learned to cheer and love this team, to love, to be happy in the good results, to cry in the bad results, to stay in expectation until the end of the game. A team that 5 years ago was in the D series (4th Division of the Brazilian Championship), fought, went up, went through joys, went through difficult times, but always been there in the field, with their joy, bringing happiness and PRIDE to the whole city , And for all Brazil as well. I met many of these players, I was with some of them daily in my work (I am a waiter in a restaurant), they were always with joy in the look, always humble. Chapecoense certainly lived, his best moment in the history of the club, arriving for the first time in the final of an international championship (Copa Sudamericana), Chapecó was in celebration, would be a unique moment, but unfortunately, God summoned these warriors to Play in the sky. Today, Chapecó lost warriors, but won angels, protective angels, who are sure to be always holding us up. The myths do not die, they turn into legends.

                                  Well, just updating ...

The cause of the accident was out of fuel, the pilot should have had fuel in northern Bolivia, but he did not. As there was already an airplane in the process of landing, it was necessary to take a few turns in the air, so the fuel is not sufficient.

                                  About the survivors:

Jackson Follmann lost part of a right leg and there was the possibility of losing the other, but the possibility no longer exists. He's the survivor in the best condition and when he was informed about the loss of the leg, he said: "I prefer life to the leg. Let's get over this."

Helio Neto is the survivor who needs more care because he has pneumonia. Despite the delicate situation, there are good prospects for improvement. Doctors said he might play football again.

Alan Ruschel no longer runs the risk of becoming paraplegic. Doctors said the fracture did not affect his movements. There is also the possibility that I can return to playing football. Alan does not remember the accident and asked if anyone else was injured. He was informed that Follmann and Neto are in the hospital, but like their companions, he does not know that the others have died.

He said he wants to eat meat and offered a BBQ for the doctors next Friday. He said he wants Follmann to play guitar (one of the goalkeeper hobbies) that day.

Rafael Henzel, the reporter, said that remember the accident. He has some fractures, but it is evolving.

The crew members are in best conditions and were already transferred to Bolivia.
