    Germany who?
    Germany crashes out at the bottom of their group after Sweden beat Mexico 3-0 and they lose to South Korea 2-0.
    I can't stop laughing 😆

    Thoughts?

    @manchester-munch

    I am not entirely surprised Manny, they struggled with the pace of the Mexico team and have not been together as a unit as long as the team that won the World Cup last time.

    Poor Germany! They have been woeful all tournament, but thought they’d have been able to scrape through tbh

    @ruby2003 It looked possible after the win against Sweden, all they needed was a win against a team who hadn't won a single game all tournament. I think if you told the Germans that before the Cup started, they'd snap up the offer.

    @hans-orf Yeah, and the friendly loses hinted at that as well.

    @manchester-munch

    Some serious rethinking needed by the manager, too much reliance on the old guard. Needs to blood some new strikers and get a good partner for Werner.

    Özil should be dropped. And the goalie should be told categorically to cut out his outfield antics. They just won the Euro U21, so if they can bring them players thru as England should with all their young guys then it should be a young dynamic squad again.

    After 12 years as manager, maybe Mr Lion should step down too. But been as he just signed a new contract I can not see that happening.

    Hope Southgate plays Rashford today, and we get some alternatives to Kane in front of goal. A nice stretch for Vardy would be worth a go (certainly does well for my Minnesota team in OSM 😉 ).
