Yeah, 523 this is a new magic. Especially 523A, I use it often because this formation has a strong defense with 5 defenders. This is also a solution for those who lack midfielders but have many defenders. I use it with Counter Attacks and midfielders helps the defenders. With zonal marking and no offside trap, pressure balanced(53), style(32), tempo(68). I have proven that this can defeat a strong team. Can beat 433A, 4231, 451 and more. But the weakness of this tactic is 433B.

I'm not sure about MoM marking though, given I haven't tried it out in months now.
But I'd give it a shot given your only three defenders and the three opponent forwards.

Try to avoid neutral (40-60) styles and consider increasing tempo (>60) since that formation relies solely on three midfielders.

Are you looking for tips to defeat a 4-3-3 A formation or for hints on how to play with it?

I suggested going with a 5-man defense in order to face your opponent's four forwards - thus I also suggested to go with a defensive approach given your 5-man defense.
If you rather go offensively by releasing one or two men from your defense, then you'd be advised to go with man-on-man marking on defending - which is riskier...

Since those four defenders will face four forwards, I'd recommend MoM marking.
