The Americas Cup 2021 is now available in OSM, the Tournament where the biggest football countries from South America will compete against each other!Do you choose reigning champion Brazil with Neymar and Marquinhos? Or would you rather pick Argentina with Messi and Di Maria?
Can you win the Americas Cup in OSM before July 11th? Then you have a chance of winning a nice reward. The following prizes will be raffled among the winners: 1x 1,000 Boss Coins and 5x 500 Boss Coins.

I'm sitting top on 3 saves with 1 or 2 losses each and 3rd on my other which I'm 5th on squad value, all teams with lowest target other than my squad battle I'm target 1. Negative medals on all of them right now. The managers I've lost to are mostly also level 10. This system is really demotivating me to play.

Next question: when are your developers fixing the issues with the medal system itself and come up with a better system? Meaning; The medal system only indicates how many bosscoins (and money) a manager spends on the game and not how good of a manager you really are! For example, in a 39 rounds competition after 16 matchdays I had 3 training camps against me already (end of the season it will probably be 8 training camps against me), since they think I am a thread/better manager(?), leading to 2 losses and 1 draw and 4th place in the competition and 5 points behind #1. While on ManagerPoints I still was 2nd on the managerslist with 1600MP, now with Medals I am number 8 on the managerslist with -2233medals! It takes away all the fun playing OSM was until yesterday, it only makes playing OSM frustrating, which means managers will quit. Please take a close look at all the forums, so far everybody has the same opinion except GB, howcome?
Indicating surveys have shown managers liked this medal system better? You might be right, but then please show us the numbers, not only a percentage but also number surveys subscribed, ranking of the participants, experience of the managers, the way the questions were formulated, etc. I have not seen a survey, and I have not seen one reaction on the forum anyone did see a survey.
If GB wants a system which is driven by bosscoins (and money) spend on the game, fine, but then please be honest about it.
Even having both Medals and MP next to another would be better solution. Then every manager can look at the ranking they like best.@biobas_nl you realise the free coins on boss coins are really easy to earn? I usually top up when I drop bellow 10,000.

Nobody from admin or staff will reply or do anything about it. That’s until loads leave the game, be patient it will happen. New managers that get to level 9 will soon leave if concentrating on ranking. It’s clearly had the reverse affect they was hoping for I’m sure , not just in the forums, social media etc.
Done a great update this time as usual
I mean the Boss Coins are hardly great to concentrate on ranking are they. 300 for the highest level……. lmao -

I mean the Boss Coins are hardly great to concentrate on ranking are they. 300 for the highest level……. lmao@jeffro-davies I think this new ranking was meant as an improvement to keep beginners in the game. But I think the "pay-to-win" concept which was introduced a few years is the reason most beginners leave after they spent their free coins. But yes, I think some hardcore managers will leave OSM because of this ranking update. And as usual GB will not respond to this because they stick to their own strategy.

if i didnt promise some goal to my crew, i quit the game a week ago. now, i am waiting for my crew. after that, i will leave the rubbish. -

I noticed that one of my players (Busquets) has just been sold only 10-15 minutes before my match is simulated, transfer worker at 21:38; match simulation around 21:50. This happened on server Mauro. He was sold from my team Coventry City (English Championship) to Barcelona, so this happened via a transfer worker. I don't want transfer workers to happen in the last hour before the match simulation because the player can be in my starting 11. @alyssagb can you ask GB to prevent this in the future? I also noticed the same thing on server Paolo earlier this week (my team Rotherdam United).
Other managers: please upvote this post if you don't want transfers to occur just before the matches are simulated.

@a-s-p-e-c-t you can't expect to get same points on a Win as a guy that's on level 5, and you can't expect to lose same medals... that's all I can say about this new system still trying to understand it though but I think the easiest thing would be to focus on your leagues other than the ranks cos honestly its depressing seeing that negative deviation

is it a failure?at the same time a manager who is in my crew and name is ömer faruk_7631's medals rank better than me and he stood 4.
he got "+" but i got "-".
there is no logical explanation for this.

At the moment it mainly depends on winning and who (his medal level) you beat
as with us in the competition, Appieee gets +19k medals even though he is 'only' 2 places above his target. I am 2nd +10 from my target and only get +2kThat's just because he's level 5 and I'm level 8
Goal makes much less important, that was part of the 'old' manager points system
@OSM Bojan for example is at 8, but +4 against target and gets -9k, because he is level 9
Or @OSM jandejaper with the same objective as Appiiee even one place higher, but almost -3k medalsbvgrave even though, is 5th, +7 to his target, -5k medals (is at level 9)

Android update
At OSM we always want the best for our managers and to guarantee this we continue to update the app with improvements.To keep the quality of the app high, we've decided that as of June 29 we'll no longer support Android version 4.4 (KitKat). When a forced update has to be made you're no longer able to play OSM from that moment on.
So it's important to update Android to version 5.0 (Lollipop) before June 29 to continue playing OSM!

At OSM we always want the best for our managers and to guarantee this we continue to update the app with improvements... He he, it was just a joke. The reality is that at GB we only care about money and we'll do anything to earn more and more. Every update we launch is to make sure of that.

@frk038 thats what I was trying to say thats just the total as per games won and games lost plus goal difference from my understanding , win a game get 300 loose a game loose -2K
So for example win 10 games thats , +3000
loose 4 games thats. -8Ktotal = -5K

The same thing happened with my team Rotherdam United yesterday. At 20:40 Brabec was sold via a transfer worker and 12 minutes later my match was simulated. Can you please inform me if this bug is already under investigation? I suppose this is something that changed unintended during a game update.

Divisions and Manager Medals
Last week we announced that Divisions and Manager Medals replaced the old Manager Point system. Since then we've received a lot of valuable feedback to improve Divisions and Manager Medals. Thanks for that, this well help us improve the game!We also received many questions about how Manager Medals are calculated. To get a better understanding of how it works, please go to the Division overview page where you can find more information in the help section. Keep in mind that the higher you rise in Divisions, the harder it will be to earn Medals and the easier it will be to lose them.
We'll continue to keep working to make OSM as good and fun as possible for our managers.
