Beside crazy settings, the main problem of official battles is the battle searching system. It's really boring to play against same crews for 3 years over and over again. Let's take an example from real life. Tottenham - ManCity may be an interesting match, but would you like to watch this same match for 38 weekends in a row? I guess not. On the other side, Burnley is in the same league but can never face Tottenham or ManCity. While Tottenham will take maybe 30pts out of these matches, Burnley will take 45-50pts facing either Norwich or Watford. Same things happening in the OSM world. It just makes no sense. At the moment crews ranked around 60. place and lower can never face a crew from top10 or top5. Why, if all the crews are same OSM Division? Then better remove divisions, because they make no sense at the moment.
Please change this asap and battles will become a real thing.

We're always ready to talk! I get what you're saying and I think the comparison makes sense. But on the other hand: it's OSM and OSM has hundres of different kinds of leagues. Battles are a specific mode for hardcore managers who like to play competitive matches. And as long as you drop/rise in the rankings, you will meet Crews that have about the same Ranking. For me, that's the basis of competitive managing.

We're always ready to talk! I get what you're saying and I think the comparison makes sense. But on the other hand: it's OSM and OSM has hundres of different kinds of leagues. Battles are a specific mode for hardcore managers who like to play competitive matches. And as long as you drop/rise in the rankings, you will meet Crews that have about the same Ranking. For me, that's the basis of competitive managing.

I agree with the facts that MenagerBL stated above. Yes, it is fun and intense to play quality and strong battles against those who are around your rank, but If its the same 5-6 crews all the time It becomes quite repetitive and boring.
My suggestion would be, and I guess MenagerBL thought the same, to spread the possible rivals when matchmaking and "opponent search" is going on. What is the point of OSM Division (highest one) If crew ranked 75th, while being in the highest possible division, cannot challenge top 5 crews? So, either make new divisions or make it possible that when the "searching opponent" mode is active make it possible that crew ranked nr.1 can play against any crew in highest (OSM) division. Same thing goes for lower divisions - If I am in 3 star division, make it possible that I can battle only 3 star crews...

@Majstor-Matt explained well. Either make it possible for crews from top10 to play also against crews ranked 70. or 80. place etc. or make new divisions. You say if we get higher then we should expect to play against higher ranked crews. Yes I understand, but then this should apply also on crews ranked 80-100. place. If they reach OSM Division then they should expect to play against all other crews from their same division. If not, then make new divisions...OSM World Champion 2019&2020/WNT Winner 17/18

@majstor-matt Thanks for elaborating! Both have ups and downs I guess. We can actually widen the matchmaking range a bit in the current system already. Probably a good idea to ask managers in Battles if they think that's a good idea (matches will be a little bit less accurate but more diverse).

To complement the suggestions already given, I think it could be created a system with the possibility to choose the opponent manually. To solve the possible problem of the medal system I think that the amount of medals could be attributed according to the division/amount of medals of the opponent crew. For example, if a crew with 10.000 medals is playing against a crew with 25.000+ medals, the victory of the 25.000+ medals crew would give much less medals than a victory against a crew with a similar rank. In the other side, a victory of the 10.000 medals crew would give a big amount of medals to them.
Another suggestion is to create an option in this battles system in which was possible to organize championships and competitions among the crews. That suggestion was already given on a topic created by my crew mate @Tiago-Parracho .
I think that these changes could bring a new life to the battles and increase the amount of players interested to playing them.

Can also add some suggestions about crew battles. Playing only for ranking after sometime gets boring. Community need crew tournaments like crew vs crew or nation vs nation. We used to have these kind of competitions. But they were closed due some reasons. Okay. But what you offer us instead of these closed crew tournaments? Only boring app battles. Towards the crew battles I have the following suggestion:Make an option with which managers can choose crews for friendly battles. These battles won't be counted in crew ranking. But we can at least organize crew tournaments.
You can say, that we have such crew tournaments like Crews Cup World and Nations Cup. But these tournaments are more individual competitions, than crew. It's nothing about crews, when certain amount of managers from a crew can battle against managers from other crew.
Sometimes ago one of the admins told us, that it's not possible technically to implement friendly battles right now. But it's already more than one year past from that moment, and honestly I can't believe such a big company in gaming industry like Gamebasics cannot implement this option to the game.
