1150M squad can't beat 97m Bot on away?

Hello everyone, one of my slots is Saint Etienne and it has around 1150M squad value. Today i faced against a bot-controlled Reims and the match finished 0-0. I used 433A wingplay and the bot used 451. Although I was on away isn't it a bit too ridiculous to lose points when my squad is 10x better than its? And it is like matchday 41 and i am now 2 points down from the first place, in other words I lost the league. People look to the matches with bots as free points but when something like this happens its frustrating for the players, it shouldnt have any chance to score points against me
