This is terrible, players with no boss coins can not do anything. Delete this update as soon as possible.

Yes, some players can play on several positions in real life. But most of them have one favourite specific position. The position in which the player features most, is used as their specific position in OSM.
Reminder: players still perform on their line. Specific position is just an additional bonus.Is it possible to make wingers play as side midfielders without being in the wrong position?

i think yeslining up all your players on their specific positions will generate a bonus
looks like it should works like nationality bonus: if you found all
of Lord Voldemort's Horcruxesplayers for every specific position, bonus is triggered -

in the game only added an opportunity to claim a little bonus, you can play as before and the result will not be worse

i think its a step in the right direction , only need to add certain things like more players on the transfer list...
those complaining about it being ''sudden'' should know that everyone is affected making it fine and kinda fun and refreshing , managers have to think differently now.i have never had issues with player fitness , my players never go below 80 in fitness and i thought this was crazy , this new update should now make me use certain players more in one position while i figure out other way to save my azz .
However , we shall need bigger squads now , so the transfer market should be more active i think .

Well it would be nice to players have two good positions like LF/ST
That way, it won't be to much players in the squad, and problem would be solved I think, or maybe not? xD -

*- this system very bad , i think u make it very fast , there is a lot of mistakes in players positions , there are players can play in different positions you must Mentions that , i think number system in positions is better and one player can take more than one number like one number is Primary and other is sub and you can use tranfermarket site as your database**

Well it caught most of us by surprise for sure and I believe not only managers were not ready but also the game wasn’t.
The worst part for me is that I asked all the managers of my English league about the update ( we are all friends and share a messenger group to talk and manage the league ) 4 managers said that they had the update a while ago and they started the season with it and bought/ trained / played players according to that ! While the remaining 15 managers weren’t and our teams ( and results in the last 2 games ) are huge mess ( some have 3 LF and 0 RF - some have 4 RB and 0 LB ) which is absolutely injust to our efforts and hardworking in building our squad
- you gonna fix that with the most annoying “ promoting “ of all time which is “ quick transfer “ that is absurd and not fair at all ( your work on your team for a while and make it stronger and some lucky manager sells players with 150 mil in one day and pays 3 to 4 players rated 94 and 95 and became much mach stronger)
The way I see it , the game is not ready yet and to apply that huge update something need to be balanced cuze managers will face many many problems:

first of all you won’t of course tell us about how much or how does the bonus work, we need to understand. Some leagues you can play with any squad and you will end up winner, but for competitive league it all up to that little differences of some home bonus , form , or even chemistry. So you cant just neglect a bonus like that and act like you didn’t see it.

now you have to decide a formation or two and build your squad on that. There is no flexibility in managing anymore for example with 5 midfielders and 3 strikers in the past you could play any formation you want. You can play 433 , 442 , 4231 and 451 for example with the same set of players but now you gotta got 2 , cm 2 cdm , 1 cam , 1 rm and 1 lm and am not mentioning rotation and who many player you need to do that ( and that is just one line of the squad ) .

there are many players that play in multiple positions whether in the same line or not but you now limited them to one main position

some positions don’t have enough players to cover an active competitive league
The way I think it should be

since most of LM / RM players you switched into wingers and LM/RM don’t have enough players ( mostly LWB/RWB playes of teams playing 3 cbs for example Saka and Hakimy ) Players on both wings be able to cover in LM/RM formations without being labeled out of positions or get less performance.

or you should give the players 2 main position which they are eligible to have full bonus if played in them.

if its hard to do that for different lines ( like kimmich being CDM / RB or Sessegnon being LW/LB ) then do it for players it in the same lines ( like Pulisic being a RF / LF or Gabriel Martinelli being both LF and ST )

Hello, I usually use OSM in the Brave browser, but the update does not appear in that browser. I have to use Microsoft Edge or Chrome

I am still struggling with my line-ups. When I have a DR with 85 skill and a DC with 80 skill. Would it then be better to pitch the DR as DC? I really have no clue if playing the DC in his correct position gives him 2%, 5%, 10% or even more bonus.
And 1 open question (asked by someone else here) for the developers: will the bonus only be given when all 11 players play in their specific player position or is this a bonus per player?

@koningco as no percentage was given nor was a minimum number given, we only have to assume that the bonus is per player. In fact, if you go into alignment and put the player in the correct position, he will have a "green mark"!

The new position feature is great, but there's one problem. The problem is not only with me, but thousands! The problem is that finding a player of a specific position is not so easy on the transfer list. Another thing is, we can prefer the scout, but doesn't he ask for 15 boss coins, right isn't it? So I think you should make the scout use lesser boss coins like you say 2 or 3 and if you can make it 1! But please reduce the number of boss coins used by the scout

I'm not sure about that green markings and those are not visible for me right now. I have seen these markings before the Specific Player Positions were visible and they might have something to do with fitness %.

With the new update, the positions were detailed, this seems to put us in a bit of a difficult situation.
positions should be a little flexible. For example oos player in forward, dos player should be able to play in defense
