Reward after knock out in Champions Cup - Reach Objective/Achievement

I have one question:
How does the Objective work after you had knock out in the tournament (Champions Cup)?? Why achievements does unlock (Recognition : Reach your objective for the first time)??
Situation as follow :- You are now knock out in the semi-final (Objective 4)??
=> Does isn't in 4??
=> Do i need to wait the tournament to finish?? If i leave the tournament before the tournament end, the Recognition isn't unlock!!
Can anyone give some explanation here please?
