If the referee is shown as orange then the recommendation is for normal tackling, which I selected.
So how can I have a player sent off for studs up tackling? I would suggest this comes under reckless & maybe aggressive, but it is definitely not normal. However, it has cost me a game - a loss when I was hoping to win. This is not the first time it has happened & it's not good enough. It can put you out of the Cup or contribute to failure to obtain your objective or, heaven forbid a title or a Cup Final loss.
We have no other influence over the game after setting the tactics & when we put in alot of hours & invest some money into this game I am afraid it is not acceptable & gives me thought to try another company's management game.

A tackling observation - AGAIN! I chose aggressive tackling when the referee was indicated as green, but the comment after the game was that OSM wasn't impressed by this & I should have gone all out? So this means OSM are recommending reckless tackling - REALLY! Would a manager actually advise that as it leads to sendings off. But hold on - I had a man sent off very recently for studs up tackling when I set it at normal.
It is all totally bonkers. Why do I bother at all.
