Will my Tactic Affect my Player's Performance?
-
Hi there,
My current team, Manchester United, has Joshua Kimmich.
He has pretty strong aspects, with 88 Attack, 95 Defence, and a 91 overall.
OSM places him as a central defensive midfielder, but in real life, he can play as a right-back or centre back too.
I know that when playing a player in a different position in OSM, they claim that it may affect their performance. However, in my opinion, I'm not quite sure; Kimmich's defence is 95.
Do you think that it will still affect his performance? My planned tactic requires strong wingers and wing-backs. All I need is just a strong right-back now. I know there are plenty of other players, but I have limited budget.
As such, can I play Joshua Kimmich as a Right-back strongly?

I would definitely not do that. Even if Kimmich might be good as a right back in real life, in my expreience, you get a massive disadvantage from putting palyers on wrong positions in OSM. I have played against a few people who had one or two players on wrong positions and most of the times i won by 4:0 or 5:0 even though our sqaud values were pretty similar.
