    Hi there,

    I would like to ask about resting players. I'm aware that fitness is important, but the trouble is that I only have 13 players, and I can only rest 1 player in my lineup each time.

    I only got to rest everyone together during preliminaries.

    My squad has only 13 players because most of them have a high rating of 90. But I know sooner or later their fitness will decrease.

    Currently I'm playing against weak teams, and I need to make the best of it by winning the games for sure. But I realized that if I keep attacking it will tire my players.

    Should I consider playing a bit more neutrally or defensively? Will this help to let my players regain fitness?

    Thank you, I look forward to seeing your replies.

    @fcbayern_gaming Hi, 🤝

    What I personally do, is that I focus on buying very cheap players, and then I place them in the line-up whenever I'm facing a weaker opponent which means that the stronger player will have 100% fitness. I think it's one of the only ways to do it.

    Pressing and tempo still use the fitness of the players and they might do it in a lower rate if you go below 50%, but it's risky as it could mess up the tactic that you are using.

    Cheers!

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for your advice. However, I'm having some financial problems and I'm not quite sure if i have the budget to get more players yet. I think I will try to play less aggressive in the matches to come, I haven't got a choice for now.

    Kind Regards.

    @fcbayern_gaming Fitness of players doesn't seem to matter very much. For example, if a manager doesn't play the game at all for several days and the players he lined up days ago are at half fitness, he will still beat you if his players are rated higher than your fully fit (but less rated) players. Even if you use Friendlies, Coaches and sometimes even Training Camps. Get enough of your players to 100+ and you can relax and take it easy, kick off your shoes and enjoy the adoration from your Board.
