Same Day Friendly + Coach Training Progression

If a player achieves Training Progression in a Friendly, should you wait till the next day before you train that player with a Coach ?
I understand that you should not train a player twice in the same day with a Coach.
Does the same thing apply when a player is shown to have progressed in a Friendly ? -
