I've been doing some A/B tests with a team of mine, where I play a friendly against another team (both computer and users). I always win without big hurdles against my competitor, yet, when I play against them in the real simulation, the game changes. For example: in a friendly I played 4-0 against a competitor who was second in the league, 1-1 then in realtime. I checked their formation, but nothing quite changed. Same for the computer. How is it such a big difference? I know there are probability changes, but sometimes they fluctuate too much to be sure of your tactics.
