Transfer madness
-
@DE-XRIST I am not talking about the event, my bad for the title of my post haha. Not easy? In my last competition there were 943 transfers in total and a team with the goal to be 10th in the competition has the highest team value of 626M and became champion of the league. And this specific person does not use lots of coins, he uses none.
So, yeah it is to easy.. He is not the only one though, i see in several competitions people who do it.

if he doesn't use boss coins then how he made his own team 626M.? If he doesn't use boss coins for buying players in the transfer list, it doesn't mean that he doesn't use them. He uses them on training (players training). Otherwise, he can't make his own team 626M without using them, because this is impossible to make his own team 626M without boss coins.

@prakhar_8 The event makes it worse. But even without the event it is possible to maximize your team value quite quickly. The competitions i play look more like a fantasy competition than a normal one. You can list a player one second after buying it and maximize the amount you are selling him for and within a day you can repeat. There will always be a computer team that buys your player.
Team of a club that has 10th as a goal. See what i mean? This is only one example.
Only when you get at 30M+ it gets more difficult to sell them, but you can sell for 75% and still receive a profit.
@Lirind Sorry, he does use coins but not much. You get 4 free coins per day, can watch ads and also get coins at the end of a season. He doesnt buy coins is what i meant.

If a manager doesn't buy coins it doesn't mean that he/she can't make his own team better. Luck is an important role in buying and selling players. So what I can say is that if a manager has luck for buying and selling players he/she can make his own team better and if he/she doesn't has luck so I agree with the above what @DE-XRIST wrote to you.
-
If you’re quick on the list and not so active leagues (All managers don’t buy and sell every transfer sim) you can build a strong team very easily without using lots of boss coins just from the transfer list.
Talk of not selling a player for 13 days is just silly, not all leagues have high rated players at the start of leagues like the EPL
-
If you don’t like transfers, you could always join nostalgia leagues that don’t have transfers
-
I was talking about 5 matches, not 13. I think we are not on the same page. But i hope you agree that it is weird that the above team i send belongs to a goal 10 team. Not realistic and shows the current transfer model is not realistic.
934 transfers in one competition season is absurd, right?
-
@Lirind it is possible ( i only mean tht he uses boss coins for transfers and little scout ). I rarely use coins in training and other such areas. In my whole OSM career i may have used coins only 4 or 5 times to train or instantly finish data analyst. It is very much possible to make tht 600M team using only the transfer list and very little scout ( maybe 5 times or less). I have done this like 4 to 5 times and i am always in the top 3 and mostly 1st in my leagues in terms of total worth and sometimes avg worth too.

Good day my loves.
The team posted in @timh1992_NL his comment is mine. The only thing I did the whole season is buying and selling players every day. It's possible to consistently sell players every day at the highest price.
Example:
I buy a player on the transferlist for 10m. He's normally worth 6m. I sell him again, but for the max price, let's say it's around 14,5m. This same player is sold the same day, or the day after. I earn 4,5m per player (so 4 times) each day. Then I buy a more expensive player, and I'm doing the same. This way I got a 658m team now while it was originally not even higher then 100m I guess. To be clear, I haven't used any coins for buying players, only for using a training camp.
As it seems to me, as much as I like the game, this game is a bit broken. It used to be more difficult to get better transfers. Since the change to the new layout it seems to be different.
Because it's so easy to gain money, I always (no exception) win from the computer. It's not that I'm a OSM pro who knows everything of the game. It's making it a bit to easy to be advance to my goal.
Anything is coming up to nerf this?
Bye bye
DonnaPS. @timh1992_NL is also just a bit jealous because he got kicked to his ass by a girl. No just kidding, love you @timh1992_NL

@timh1992_NL u should join the leagues made by @barouette. These pros take a 15 objective team and make it the top 4 strongest teams in any leagues. He may be present in the French forum. Becoz he is french. He has a very popular insta page of OSM and has 2 strong crews ( one is golden and is main) and (2nd is for recruiting managers to the main and it's a blue crew). We all were playing in Egypt and Barouette took a 15 objective team and made it 2nd strongest and me was first with 1st objective team. Currently in 2 of his created leagues he is the strongest player in terms if both money and team with a objective 10 and 7.
-
Here is my team in a league where I didn't use scout at all PS its objective 10:
-
As u can see barouette is fiorentina.
Plus all these players are from the transfer list ONLY. -
@Lakshay-Ahluwalia That's what we say, it's too easy to get better players, just by buying them from the transferlist. Would be nice if it's more difficult to finish above your objective. I can pick a team with a goal of 13-16th place and still easily get in the top 3-5 without even looking to my tactics. That's some heavy poep.

@Donh1993_NL thnx
u are correct.

Look on my 3rd slot, my crew league
all timers and BC compensation turned off. This is how you build squads. I have over a billion value starting from around 30m and I’m about 7th in the squad builders
-
actually yeah, its kind of unrealistic...basically with the events....i have a newcastle career mode on matchday 27 and alreeady have a squad worth 534M....my highest rated players are 104 ferran torres(20 years),99 longstaff.s(23 years),108 oblak(27 years) and 98 hernandez(24 years)...and i didnt use bosscoins for either transfers or training
-
I personally feel tht its time to make managers understand tht squad building is not the only way to be a successful manager in OSM, bevoz i see a lot of posts stating tht transfers are unfair. I am not for nor against any promotional events( even though some are not for everyone). If u ask me, There are 2 ways to be successful in OSM1) Squad Building
2) Tactics Master.
If you are good at one of these there is a high chance tht u are successful ( in the sense thtu get few trophies and finish in top 4 etc). But to be a OSM **professional ** u need to master both. ( this applies to Free to Play managers like me and others, becoz any one who buys biss coins is already a Squad Builder).
I can proudly say tht i am not a professional and neither have i mastered squad building BUT i can be considered a best manager.( me not successful either).
Now i can give u my own example of why squad building is not at all necessary from the below screen shots:
As u can see even though i am one of the weakest, I am just 3 points shy of 3rd place in this Ghana league created by Barouette ( again).
Now even though i am not a master of squad building, i am pretty good at it. But as u can see i was not soo good in Ghana. Mostly becoz i took the league lightly. Becoz in the start there was no difference between a objective 15 team and 1 team. The teams were all similar. I let my guard down, barely sold my players and here i was, one of the weakest. Yet using tactics i am still in the top 5. -
I understand tht working adults and people cannot utilise the transfer madness event and use transfers to their advantage. But wht they can( any manager irrespective of age can be successful by being good at tactics) whether their squad is strong or not. So in my eyes i still feel tht OSM is not biased towards free to play managers like us who don't use boss coins. Instead we all have a fighting chance thru tactics. This makes OSM equal. Tht irrespective of whether u pay or not, u can still win and beat players who use a lot of scouts and transfers and win trophies.
**That is why i said tht to be a professional at OSM u need to master both **
Also keep in mind tht squad building mastery doesn't mean tht u always have the strongest squad, it means tht u can create a strong squad no matter how weak u were. For me having a strong squaf doesn't mean being in top 1. It means being in top 4 and having certain backups. -
@Lakshay-Ahluwalia Backups mean this:
Having 3 first team forwards, 2 or 3 more as backup ( to fight weak computers and managers)( also mostly to make sure the first team members reamin fit).Having minimum of 7 midfielders of which 4 are your first team and the rest backup ( to play weak teams). Even though i am a very frequent user of 433 i still keep 4 main midfielders incase i use 343 or any formation of 4 to 5 midfielders.
Lastly having minimum of 8 defenders of which 4 are your first team. (In this u can see i have 7 becoz i sold my 8th defender yesterday becoz i have no use of backup players as my league is ending and i need money for winners cup, same reason why u can see son on the list along with kovasic.)
.
Goalkeepers you shuld have 2 or 3 ( I keep 2 only) for goalkeepers if u have a strong young one like donnarumma or dean or ramsdale, u keep them and make them strong by training and make them high level. If u have old, then buy them. Like here. Had a young one but he was weak, so i bought a strong one to replace him.
Hope u all found this useful. Becoz taking screenshots and writing all this took some time and charge.

I am glad some of you agree with me. I know it is a simulator but it is weird to make it possible for every competition to become a fantasy competition as the season progresses.
I am a little dissapointed that there are almost no admins responding and if they are, they deny the case.
I am hoping there will be a poll amongst the players to see if the majority wants this updated.
Thanks for responding everyone.
