Top 100 MP Ranking question
-
I see that most teams in the top 100 of the MP Ranking play in leagues with 10 teams. After the revaluation of the leagues goal 8 is the lowest in those leagues (this was goal 9 before the revaluation). I am wondering why most teams in the top of the ranking plays play leagues with 10 managers. Can anyone explain to me why those leagues are better for the ranking than leagues with 8 of 12 teams?

10 teams league is perfect because it gives enough points, does not last too long and you can easilly find 6-7 active managers to play with you in a league - and that is the key thing. Because If you dont have active managers with you in the league you are losing MP's due to the fact that a win against PC team or inactive manager does not give too much MP's. And that is the main problem in long leagues, after 4-5 first rounds you end up with only 3-4 active managers and you are losing points every day. No use in having 38-0-0 record if you did not have enough active managers with you.Anyway that is my reasoning why I prefer shorter leagues to keep my ranking place up.

@Majstor-Matt perfect friend, excellent reasoning

@Majstor-Matt Thank you, that is a very good explanation. So there is not much disadvantage when I play in leagues with 8 or 12 teams compared to leagues with 10 teams? Is 8 teams actually better because you can gain cup points faster and possibly play more matches against human managers in stead of computer teams?

Before, when league goals were "normal" there was not a big difference between 8 and 10 teams, 12 teams I think werent as good for points. Now with new goals system Im not sure about 8 teams leagues anymore.But as I said, if you could find 20managers that will be active in the league throughout whole season even 20 teams league is great.

@Majstor-Matt I thought big leagues are not good for managers who want to play for a top ranking because the number of points in the early cup rounds is low (and high in the semi final and final).
