Hello Friends!
We've reached half of the leagues! And what an intense competition we're having in this Nations Cup first edition! Some National Teams are already positioning themselves to the next round, and others are fiercely struggling for a spot in the sun! Let's take a look:
GROUP A
Syria is surprisingly in the 1st place with 341 points! Amazing performance! The last rounds leader Indonesia is now in the 2nd place, followed by India, France, Azerbaijan and Uruguay all above 300 points! These 6 National teams finish the first half of the Round in Qualification Places, but will they be able to keep it? Some sharks are right behind, and the second half of the leagues will be most certainly a tactic battleground!
GROUP B
Hungary, with 550 points it's on the lead now! Amazing performance! Turkey and Belgium complete the podium, proving their value, with Libya and Cameroon completing the qualifying positions! But we're just halfway of the 1st Round! Everything can change in a blink of an eye!
GROUP C
Spain is now on the lead, with 525 points, proving their favourite status! Serbia is firmly on the 2nd place with 498 points. These two teams will most certainly have a saying to the Final Qualification! Ukraine, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovenia complete the Qualifying positions, all above 300 points! But the other teams are looking upwards, so nothing is certain!
All the information gathered in this tables only takes in consideration the results of all leagues that simulated until 19h00 CET, today. The Penalties are not included, as they'll only be included in the Final Standings.

Hey there! It's Sir Hunchy! And today i'll be wandering in the middle east sand landscapes!
United Arab Emirates in under my radar today!
They're currently in 7th place in Group B, with 399 points, fighting for Qualification! G1's Dhanhani is currently the tea's MVP, contributing with 34% of UAE points. The other 3 lineup managers are almost even in their contribution, with G5's Ahmad al marri, G9's Brazilianboy and G13's Shebab. contributing with 22%/23% of the score each. Keep up with the good works lads! Nothing is lost! You just need to believe!
Tomorrow i'll come back with more individual performances, and another National Team on the scope!
Today's interviewed National Team Coach is @sodratrener , from Slovenia ! (This interview took place 21/02).
Q -> What do you think, about the format, of this competition?
I am very pleased that so many countries have taken part in the competition. After 10 rounds we can see that the competition is very even and that all the participants want to do their best. The format of the competition is very good and many people can qualify for further competition. I think we'll see some surprises.Q -> How is the competition going so far? What is the opinion of your national team managers about it?
For the Slovenian national team the championship is going very well. At the moment we are occupying second place and I think we are on a very good path. The rest of the coaches are very happy with the current work and the league in general.Q -> What can you tell about Slovenia team?
The Slovenian national team is composed of three very experienced coaches, who have been playing for a very long time. I'm on the scene for 4 years and I'm still a rookie coach, given the experience .Q -> What are your goals for the competition?
Our goal, of course, is to get into the next round of the competition and show Slovenia in the best light. We're on our way so far.Q -> When you select the coaches to represent the National team, what is most important?
We had some problems in the selection of coaches at the beginning. Some time ago, Slovenia's national team already existed, but it later broke up and there was no one to take over. Ivan contacted me before the competition, I think everyone knows him because he's one of the best coaches in the world. He offered to help me and we found Slovenian coaches together. I'm very happy that one of the better if not the best Slovenian coaches responded. We've been very close and we're helping each other.Q -> In Nations Cup we'll have : "The Nations Diary", a casual news thread inside the competition, what do you suggest to be published?
About news you are doing very good work so far. Maybe we could give some votes for surprise competitions or league leaders to define themselves and write something about them and their national team.Thank you! Good luck to Slovenia! They're currently in qualification position in Group C!
Thats all for today! Tomorrow, in Nations Diary, well come back to Group C! Stay tuned!
Thank you, stay safe and enjoy life!

Today, the interview is with @Arashlak77 , Iran National Team Coach!
Q-> What do you think, about the format, of this competition?
This format is a new and exciting experience and we are happy to be in this competition.Q -> Do you have any suggestions to improve the competition?
Competitions are high level and we enjoy it, but I think a series of rules should be changed. Such as allowing immediate sales; allowing friendly match And the impermissibility of secret training. I think if the rules are like this, the level of competitions will be higher and more professional.Q -> What can you tell about Iran team?
We are a very young team. For example, I have been playing as the team captain since 2018. And we are less experienced than many countries, but we have a high motivation to succeed.Q -> What are your goals for the competition?
We try to do our best and now we do not think about the next steps.Q -> When you select the coaches to represent the National team, what is most important?
Enough time, transfer skills, enough boss coins.Q -> In Nations Cup we'll have : "The Nations Diary", a casual news thread inside the competition, what do you suggest to be published?
Interviews were an interesting idea, but more can ideas can be implemented. Like pre-match and analysis for important and sensitive games.Thank you! Best of luck to Iran!
And we're done for today. Tomorrow, Group A will be on the table.
Thank you, stay safe and enjoy life!

-
Jak masz na imię?
Tomek. -
Ile masz lat?
Jeszcze 38, we wrześniu 39... -
Co robisz w życiu na codzień?
Pracuję jako projektant elektryk w branży automotive. Wolny czas od pracy poświęcam rodzinie i osm . -
Jakie masz refleksje związane z Covid-19?
Sceptycznie i z dystansem podchodzę do tematu Covid-19.
Jak długo zostaniesz?
Ciężko powiedzieć i przewidzieć. Skoro przeszedłem ostatni kryzys, to może jeszcze minimum rok pogram. -
Czy zaskoczyło cię powołanie do kadry narodowej?
Trochę zaskoczyło. Swój czas w kadrze już miałem. Jest wielu lepszych i bardziej zaangażowanych graczy. -
Co sądzisz o polskim składzie na ten turniej?
Myślę, że skład optymalny i przemyślanie. Dobrany to bieżącej fazy turnieju. Mamy bogactwo dobrych managerów i myślę że 3-4 równorzędne składy spokojnie dałoby się ulepić . -
Dlatego poprzez system akademii chcemy wyłapać największe talenty i odbudować silny PE. Na pewno na to potrzeba czasu i cierpliwości. Liczę, że to niebawem zaprocentuje. -
Dziękuję za rozmowę i powodzenia w realizacji celów.

Group A Standings
Wow! Since last Monday's update, so many changes! This is proving to be a very competitive group, and nothing will be certain until the very end! India, with 435 points. is now on the lead with only 3 points advantage over Syria, that now has 432 points! India has made a huge progression last days! Impressive! Indonesia is now on 3rd place with 417 points, completing the podium. Another National Team that as made a huge recovery on the table is Portugal, now on 4th place with 407 points! Last Monday they were in the 9th place! Great performance! Croatia is still in 5th place, proving they're regular in a crucial phase of the competition, and Uruguay, in the 6th place with 376 points, completes the qualification places. But France, Brazil and Azerbaijan are right behind, all above 300 points, so... this will be a thrill until the last round!

One, two, three... testing.. testing... is this thing turned on? One, two... ups! I'm live! Ok. That was awkward! It's me! Sir Hunchy!
Today, Group A will be on by microscope. I'm amazed with the quality we have here. There are so many National Teams that deserve a place in the Final, but only six of them will have the chance! Fight for it!
Now, let's se how my raising stars are performing!
It will be awarded to the managers with more squad evolution in the leagues, with their teams! Until today at 19:00 CET, this is the manager with best performance in Group A:
- @KALKAN-HAMZA from Azerbaijan with 749M evolution in his squad so far, it's still the gold digger!! Congratulations!!
It will be awarded to the managers with more scored goals in the leagues with their teams! Until today at 19:00 CET, this is the manager with best performance in Group A:
- @Moltensky from Portugal with 39 scored goals in his league, it's also solid in the position! Goals! Goals! Goals!
It will be awarded to the managers with less conceded goals in the leagues with their teams! Until today at 19:00 CET, this is the manager with best performance in Group A:
- @trickeymaster from The Netherlands with only 8 concede goals, it's the nightmare of any opponent!
It will be awarded to the managers that scores the most points for their National Teams!! Until today at 19:00 CET this is the manager, with is the best performance so far in Group A:
- @Moltensky from Portugal with 211 scored points for his National Team, it's proving his worth! Incredible performance!
These Managers are something else! I won't be surprised if one of them, or even all for them, win the awards in the end of the competition!
The Nation of the Day is The Netherlands !
One of the favourite National Teams in this Tournament, their performance so far is below expectations. Currently in the 13th place in Group A, with only 237 points, i'm sure they're not happy! we're talking about the home land of OSM! But nothing is lost, and their recovery is till possible! Trickeymaster is, by far, the most consistent player of the lineup, with 172 points (70% of team's total). renkie is also performing well, with 115 points contribution. The other tow lineup managers are really bringing their work down, and that's a shame. Let's hope they'll find an extra strenght and surprise us all!
And I'm done for today! what a pleasure it is to have the chance to be here and have close contact with this amazing tournament! Tomorrow i'll be back, with more info about Group B!
Today, we have Mexico National Team Couch, @Ricardo-Landa :
Q -> What do you think, about the format, of this competition?
The format is very good, but the most important is still playing international tournaments and cups against very powerful managers.Q -> Do you have, any suggestion to improve the competition?
Not for now, I can only suggest keep respect between managers all time.Q -> What can you tell, about Mexican team?
Mexicans feel sad because coronavirus is killing many people around the World, and specially in our country but we try to get happy playing OSM with the heart.Q -> What are your goals for the competition?
My personal goals are watching the Mexican managers, some have surprising skills, they need to believe in themselves.Q -> When you select the coaches to represent the National team, what is most important?
Playing level AND friendship, they must be nice people.Q -> In Nations Cup we'll have : "The Nations Diary", a casual news thread inside the competition, what do you suggest to be published?
Photos of beautiful girl from every country hahaha, just kidding, maybe topics of food, peoples, places, interviews with Best managers of each country.Thank you Ricardo! Best of luck to Mexico!
And thats all for today! Tomorrow we'll be back with another edition of Nations Diary!
Thank you, stay safe and enjoy life!
