UPDATE on 'Locked' accounts issue
I would like to start by apologising once for for all this situation.
We've already identified the problem and working hard to solve it. At this point we can't make other promises than that we're working hard to fix it as fast as possible.
We'll keep you posted and update you all when we've more info!

@specialone almost 2 weeks since this issue and you haven't fixed it yet. When you're gonna unlock accounts that have been blocked for no reason? I have a friend who is still waiting his account to get unlocked?!

My account was suspended on 2/6/2022 due to the error that occurred with you and I sent the account information several times and did not find a solution to the problem and now when I log in it tells me that the account has been temporarily suspended due to many attempts, knowing that I have not logged in for a week but still This problem persists, please help me

From OSM Terms:
- You may not create and/or manage more than one account at OSM. This includes accounts in different leagues.
PM_Spain_BTB seems to me that's not same as Chelsea FC osm
But...
The real issue here are those damaged accounts which show lock info when users log in. Unfortunately there aren't good news yet...
Let's cross fingers and hope for good some news on it -

You and all users that were affected this issue are right... we really failed with communication in this situation.
I'll try to explain a bit and justify some of the actions we took...
It took longer than expected to find out what went wrong and since we didn't have anything to tell users we just grouped all tickets about this problem.
When we found out what happened, we had to decide what to do and how to fix it. Again no clear info to provide, so it didn't make any sense to answer users just to tell them, please wait a little more because we've no idea if we'll be able to recover your accounts
We managed to find a possible solution to recover accounts... after testing we came to conclusion that it's not possible to recover accounts automatically, so we'll need to do it manually. Not the best solution, but let's set some criteria for it: restore only accounts that have an e-mail linked to the account and also from users that contacted us from that same e-mail.
There were at same time a lot of requirements we were forced to implement on account security that delayed this step and when we were about to start the whole process, during final tests, the accounts we fixed/restored, crashed completely and we found out problem was not solved....
This process is not yet closed, there's still a small hope for these accounts. We're making some more changes on the system and we'll see if when we finish those changes it's possible to recover those accounts.
This will be our last attempt on solving this... there's a small hope that it will work, but no promises can be made. What we'll try to do is close this issue by answering all tickets with the final answer.Until then, I can only say sorry on my and MNL behalf, but we decided to not continuously sending update status with negative information. We chose to only answer when we've a final decision. Unfortunately this is taking ages to solve/fix and we're not yet sure if it will ever be possible to restore those accounts!

I had 40K coins in my account. What will happen to them?
