It was a lovely game between Ghana & South Korea. Kudus was MotM.
Brazil had a hard one with Switserland as usual.
Portugal won against Uruguay, in my opinion Uruguay deserved more.

The decisions in Group A & B are going to be here today.

Group A :
Qatar- Netherlands (1-2)
Senegal - Ecuador (3-2)
That means Netherlands and Senegal go further to the next round.

Group B :
Engeland - Wales (2-0)
USA - Iran (2-0)
England & USA will go on as well and face Netherlands & Senegal in the knock-outs.

Senegal beated Ecuador with 2-1. Deserved and expected win.
Same with the Netherlands against Qatar. The match in this match was so bad! It looked like he was bribed.

Most spectaculair match was USA-Iran, USA won with a bit of luck and will face the Netherlands in the knock-outs.
England had an easy win against Wales.

Todays matches :

Tunesia - France (0-4)
Australia - Denmark (0-1)
Poland - Argentina (1-3)
Saoedi Arabia - Mexico (1-1)

But i hope Argentina will become second so there will be the match between Argentina and France in the knock outs.

For the Netherlands they will play against the winner of Denmark/Number 1 of the poule of Argentina. So the Netherlands will have a 'walk in the park' to the semi finals. Where probably Spain or Brazil will wait for them. And they will lose against Spain i guess.

@L-R-van-kessel_NL Finally the World cup atmosphere has changed, some teams are eliminated despite trying their best in their last match!!

Tunisia gave their best and beat France 1-0 but in vain as we were all shocked that Denmark played so low class football ️ losing 1-0 to Australia
And Saudi Arabia who won their first match against Argentina was eliminated with a loss of 2-1 against Mexico and Argentina won 2-0 and qualified easily and Poland who relaxed in their last match was qualified.
My predictions of today's matchday:

Croatia 1-1 Belgium
Japan 1-2 Spain
Costa rica 1-3 Germany

Australia is facing Argentina in the next round and France will winn against Poland.

@L-R-van-kessel_NL This is the shock of the World, how can VAR accept that goal, for me the second goal scored by Japan is controversial as the ball was completely out, Germany out because of Controversy. Japan coming out on top and followed by Spain.
Another team called Belgium went out on a draw against Croatia. How can Lukaku miss all these open goals, three one on one misses for an attacker like Lukaku. Very bad

@Fear-Force It was a fair goal in my opinion, The higher middle part of the ball was still on the line.
Like Real Madrid - Ajax (Mazraoui).

But still a good laugh that Germany is out in the group stage, did'nt see that coming.

I was'nt here in the weekends but the groupstage is over. Even the first k/o matches are played.

The Netherlands had an easy game against the USA.
Engeland & France had an even easier match.
Only Argentina was a bit lucky against Australia.

Next round :Netherlands-Argentina & France-England. 2 lovely matches.
After tomorrow we also will know the other quarter finalist. Propably Spain-Portugal & Brazil-Croatia (or Japan?)

I like both teams Morrocco and Spain but I don't know I think Spain has a little advantage but Morrocco also is not bad beating Belgium and a draw with Croatia
Morrocco 0-1 Spain
Portugal 2-2 Switzerland and Portugal wins on Penalty

@Fear-Force Morocco have some nice players , but nothing more then that. The groupstage with Belgium (to old) and Croatia (Not that well anymore) was a good one for Morocco but those teams are 'peanuts' compare to Spain.

Spain has a really good team, players and tactics. They will easily beat Morocco.

Still i wish Morocco all the best and hope they will go further, but i don;t see it happen.

Spain curse is back, the repeat of last time in Russia where they lost in the Round of sixteen on penalty and this time also it's the same story, Morrocco won on penalty, poor penalties from the Spanish players, Spain dominated the game in possession as usual but Morrocco surprised us all.
