How to not get bored listening to a record.

Maybe the question is silly for some, but how do you do it? There are albums that simply make me yawn and I skip the songs when I'm tired of listening to it.
Don't hate me, but it has happened to me with records that are important to the history of music, so I need that advice...

@GrehnanSondra i know what you mean, at some point you are tired of all songs you like.
I just go back some years and listen to the music I heard in the past. -

Depends on the artist and how they made the album.
Sometimes an artist just have some songs you like, so why would you listen to the entire album.Back in the days, there was a 'story' in the album like Usher,R. Kelly, Ja Rule, Eminem had it for example.
Now days Adele has it with her latest album.
